It really is! Pat keeps saying that nobody watched this and nobody cares, and … I mean I haven't seen his analytics. Reuploading it with the chapters probably will help a lot though. I'm basically watching the whole thing over again. I was NOT in 5th grade when it came out. Let's just say I was there for this year, though I don't remember much of it from the time.

God I love being a nerd that grew up in the 80s. This for me is great because I had older brothers, thus there was a vcs in the house before I was born. This part of the series is like prehistory, where my love starts in 83 or so playing around with the vcs connected to the console woodgrain TV in the living room. Also had a a Magnavox VCR with "remotes" that had a wire to the back of the player 😂.

"Before this point, Japan had no influence over the video game industry" Wait, what? In Jaws they show the 1972 Sega electromechanical game "Killer Shark". You could argue that electromechanical games aren't "video games", but clearly the arcade video games were direct successors to electromechanical games.

Could've been a classic but too many 4th string youtubers. We get it let's get, you say dumb awkward shit. 2 episodes in and his schtick is entirely worn out already. If they were to try and do this again for the 90s, I'd chip in on the Kickstarter if some of the money went to better writers and they switched up a bunch of the cast
