Reminds me of a story I do not retell well, but use on my loved ones....a dam was breaking. Police went door to door to warn the people. A man refused to leave because God would save him. The dam broke. The water rose. Some firemen came by the house in a boat. He refused. God will save me, he said. He was on his roof. The water was all around. A helicopter tried to pick him up. God will save me, he screamed. He drowned and upon reaching heaven he asked...God! Why didn't you save me? God said, I sent you a policeman to warn you, firemen in a boat and a helicopter.....did you not know My voice? Much love, ya'll! 🙋‍♀️❤️

I’m so glad you posted this. I’m a 76 yr old widow. Was raised Christian personally I’m so done trying to tell people to prepare. Sure God is in control but he still made Moses do the work. Noah had to prepare. No rapture came to save them from what they need to do. I’ve distanced myself from all my friends. Just me and the dogs. We are stock piled food, etc. I can live off grid a long time. We owe nothing to those who don’t prep yet laugh at us. God bless you.

Same here. Just my dogs and myself as I had to let go of most of my friends and family unfortunately. They are so blind and they support our destruction. I just can’t be bothered anymore. It makes me to angry to be around them. I have tried to tell them but they just tell me to shut up as I am depressing them. They ignore the evil in front of us, they ignore mentally ill men in our girls bathrooms and what they do to our children. They went along with the plandemic and when I spoke out, nothing but turmoil. It is almost daunting to be this alone but I do have God and my two girls (dogs) so most days I feel just fine and grateful. When it gets to me, I pray, or I get into one of my many home projects and maybe make a special dinner for me and the girls. I do work two days a week which is good because it helps me remember how to actually talk to people 🙈😂whether I want to or not

When Joseph was in Egypt, he interpreted the dream of Pharoah that there were going to be 7 fat years (abundance) and 7 skinny years (scarcity). He told Pharoah that he should store up the excess so the people can survive later on. I see this as very applicable for today. 20 plus years ago when a pediatric oncologist looked me in the eyes and told me my son had Leukemia, I bowed my head right at that very moment and told God this was too big for me and I needed Him to heal my son He did, but I didn't tell the doctors ok God's got this we're going home. I followed God's lead. I trusted that God would put all the right people and answers that were needed to get him through. And, He did. Everything that could have gone wrong actually went right, exactly right. But I did what I had to for my son to be blessed and healed. Even the doctors weren't very optimistic because he was so sick. He went into remission in only 10 days and he's so healthy now that even the Marines wanted him. God knows what we can and can not do. For the things we are out of control of I do believe He will help us if we sincerely ask Him and give Him faith to work with. I don't believe God provides for us what we can do ourselves anymore than we would for our own child. If we had a grown and capable child that knew he needed something but made no effort to provide for himself would we just do it for him? I wouldn't. That is how we learn and grow by doing and striving. We are supposed to be God's warriors. What warrior sits back asking asking, asking but never lifting a finger for themselves? God has graciously provided the time now to get stuff done. For some, He has provided the money to stock away for lean times. Where in the Bible does it say He will do it all? Even the sparrows must leave the nest to find the food that God has put out there for them.

As a homeschool mom of three sons, I felt the Lord instructed me to study biblical history along with ancient history, one entire summer. I then taught our sons the contents of that study. To this day, they comment on how they are now prepared, emotionally and spiritually for what is to come, and what has taken place so far. I completely concur with you. There’s probably 2% in this country that truly “get it“. The rest do not understand that we Suffer right along with the kings that cause the sin in the first place. I don’t understand why Christians don’t understand. Except that, there is a spiritual laziness permeating through our society. I am now in the second year of homeschooling our young granddaughter. I'm 57, diisabled and homebound but I still prep for my mom n son. I'm on life saving treatment so when shtf I will be one who wont last very long. I wish I was physically able to do more. I would much rather have it and not need it, than not have it and need it! Now, I haven't been able to prepare as much as others, but I continue to get what I can. I for instance do not have a rural home, but I've used my yard to garden and learn what I can within the space I have. I have lived below my means for years and have always tried to prepare for the future. None of this doesn't mean that I do not believe and trust in Jesus Christ, because I most absolutely do! Absolutely correct, God helps those who help themselves. Complacency is the same as acceptance. You must fight for your love of and truth of God. Prepare to fight the war between good and evil and wage now because it's here and now as it's always been.

You are right about everything you say. I feel completely alone. Unfortunately, I live in the state of NY. I don't know a single soul who sees what is happening right under their nose. I've been told a number of times to stop talking about these negative things, and there's no need to worry because God will take care of us. I stopped trying to have conversations with people about what's going on and have come to realize that it's hard to watch, but that's my only choice. I fear they will all be outside my door begging me for help when the food is gone.

Let the dead bury the dead. Almost every time I bring how bad things are and that it's best to prepare, people just get into a qanon state or go in about purely spiritual things and how demons are doing it all. No personal effort to prepare. Just thinking that if bad things happen it HAS to mean the second coming. Disregard that the second coming didn't happen during WW1 or even 2.

Understanding the Bible and reading it are two different things. You really have to think about God's love, and what that means, because his love and understanding are perfect and do not always match your initial interpretation of a verse. Discernment and hermeneutics are so important. I totally agree with you, brother!
