@shaoiliu essentially its a rags to riches story. 50 cent was what we would call negative as a young man but now he has moved beyond that. the reason people constantly bring up his past is because no one can imagine living through those circumstances. drug dealer, shot 9 times, selling again, ...etc.
@bullrowels13 жыл бұрын
he appreciates where he is because of where he came from..more artists and actors need to be humble like 50

It's good to see him being himself and not a generic rapper like most people out there, as i heard him say in another interview people know he's rich he doesn't need to wear obscene amounts of jewlerry anymore.

I always associate 50 with a vitamin water purchase even after all these years but I was buying it and enjoyed it before I learned it was his thing. I just started buying it more after that and less now that he sold it lol one of the only guys I am a "fan" of to that extent

Interesting how the two white ladies kept going over Curtiss's drug life from his early years, even mentioning his mother. Loved how he answered her by the way. Then the two Black females asked about his success. Funny how Joy mostly stayed out of it. Like 'oh I don't agree with this script'.

It's really cool to see 50 like this. And realizing that he's got an awesome sense of humor is even more kickass! Cause you know how some celebrities have a sense of humor, but not enough of a good one for them to realize what the host said? And it kinda ruins everything for you? Yeah, his sense is awesome! XD

How long will 50 Cents have to keep explaining his past on these talk shows? His fans and haters are his peer group or younger so they already KNOW his backstory. The producers of this show really had these broads ask lame-assed questions.

@illuminous09 thats cool, and you make a legit point. but bottom line is, i respect this man because of his story, and what he been through, and how he kept fighting to make it out. you are right, people aint garantee success living rich, but their chances of being successful are much better then someone that was born into 50's world u know? I just wish that people look past what has been, and look at what he has become

people like 50 arnt suppose to make it out the hood. they suppose to die in it. The simple fact tat he could make it out of queen alive, after being shot 9 times, stabbed another numerous of times, is nothing short of inspiring. I never hated 50, but i was never a big fan of him either....until recently. I hope people can take his story and use it as motivation.
