This is so beautiful what Curtis "50 Cents" continues to do, and I love this story. A truly caring man, who came from turbulent beginnings, continues to demonstrate concern and care by personally helping others. People often talk about people from turbulent backgrounds but I have seen so many from them turn away from tragic cycles to a more humanitarian way of life. They engage with those in need, give, share and care while doing so. There is NO need for the hypocritical liars that learned how to fake sincerity but "present-well," because those types don't posses good genuine Spirit. I prefer those that are truly caring and authentic ,even as they evolve, because they are absolutely making a difference and they are a reflection of "how you can start one way and evolve in such a beautiful way." This is beautiful you only see stories like this shared after a celebrity dies, I love Mr Curtis Jackson even more than I did before.

Sometimes these artist need to take recognition for stuff like this, just to show and encourage others to do the same. These kids should be able to thank and meet the person who changed their life.

The world usually only gets 50 cent. I think we just got a little glimpse of Curtis!! You have to respect someone that gets shot that many times and still lives to become as successful as he has. But this is another level of respect for me.

@@billbailey9915 Please this is not the place for this. Africa is a huge continent. I am from Nigeria, you are from Ghana? We have enough philanthropists for you to ask first.Charity begins at home. And there are too many scams etc that happen on social media, so even though you might have good intentions, go through the proper channels and don't ask people after they are emotional from watching others perform good deeds. It's bad manners.

I feel where you're coming from but that is what sells. If it were not for him telling us about life from his perspective, he would not have had all the money he has. Without that money he wouldn't have been able to support such initiatives. Also, with people relaying the type of lives they used to live through music and film, some people would have not been able to gain role models that would inspire them to be better and uplift themselves from the same conditions they see that their heroes used to live. There is a good and a bright side to both.
