Kim Hennig Hi Kim, I hope that you enjoy your hike across there. It’s wonderful but can be treacherous in bad weather. It can take longer than expected too with the constant ups and downs. Camping on top of Speculation one year with my son was amazing. Carry plenty of water especially after leaving Mt Speculation. (heading towards the Razor/Viking) When would you like to go? Have you hiked a little before?

@@kgakoh0 Sounds great Kim. Everest base came would be memorable. I noticed that you have a video of the Bunyip State Park. That's where I live and walk regularly. I don't think that the 5km bubble will be with us for very long now. Numbers are low and we're doing really well.

@@trevorevans7101 hi mate I have a question dropping down of viken through man made rope tunnel down to viken saddle is there water most of year round?
@trevorevans71013 жыл бұрын
@@roscoadventures2194 hi Rosco. I am not the ultimate expert of the area but can say - No reliably water there all the way back to Camp Creek at the base of Speculation. Seasonal water near the camp site on the Sth side of Mt Despair. It’s a tricky spot for water. Bring water with you up The Viking from the water tank at Barry Saddle. Regards, Trevor

Inspiring video! Just a shame the entire Alpine NP will be closed for most of summer this year.

Thank you. Yes it’s sad indeed. My favourite ‘4 Mile Hut’ has burnt down.
