We BTAC volunteers cleared the entire Dry River spur foot track two summers ago or so. It offers a more interesting way out of the Wonnaggatta River Valley and takes you up to Guy's hut and Bryce's Gorge car park.

You looked pretty nervous throughout - that makes perfect sense. Would have been good to see your camp set-up and where you camped.

Thanks, you're right...I was pretty trepidatious after reading lots of trip reports! I kind of go through my gear in the lightweight hiking gear video on my channel - which was filmed in the spot I camped on the Viking.

Ha Ha. Nobody has anything good to say about the Zeka Spur track!. I was fortunate enough to get a lift up to the top in a proper 4 WD so I walked down the Dry River Spur in searing heat and then in fog and rain went up the Zeka Spur track in a 4x 4 vehicle the next day .
