for a start i said near impossible. perhaps i didnt elaborate enough but on top of the pops, the only live part of the song is the singing. the band almost always uses an altered drum kit that is not hollow so the drummer can still hit the drums making little sound. otherwise you would here two sets of drums in the performance-the real ones and the pre-recorded ones. And the fact is that pretty much all modern music vids are prerecorded, as you said so you wouldnt say that they are faking live

omg!! great work on your life (cant see how that relates to the subject but, what the hell, your obviously awesome!) yes all the stuff you just added is correct. it is possible but extremely difficult to fake drums live and these ones obviously werent faked. but no one was disputing that, they were disputing craigs guitar and voice. its not actually about proving you wrong or a "victory", as far as im concerned i made my point in my first 2 comments.

I don't think it's a bad thing the fact that sometimes he screams like cobain..I mean it's just an influence and he shows that what cobain did it's not hard to reproduce...but he makes it in his own way. Besides I think Oasis were obviously more influenced by beatles and they showed it more ofen and it seems like no ne seems to say this all over again, it's so unfair...

Oh shut up please. Like the whole I don't like how he is like Cobain and Nirvana. It's called influence. You dress or act a way because you like it. You all saying your music taste and fashion sense wasn't influenced by anyone?

i dont get it first a lot of people talks about how shitty the music is today (justin gaybier, lady gaga, taio cruz, kesha and all that shit) with comments like where all the good stuff of the 90's go? and then when a guy is being kind of getting back some of the escence of the 90's obviously influenced by kurt cobain people says he is trying to immitate him or whatever .. kurt cobain did covers too
@panchomanygonzoman13 жыл бұрын
so why everybody is saying"he's coping Kurt blablablabla" i love both bands but the vines is the only that still "alive"

WHO FUCKIN CARES IF ITS REMENICENT OF KURT COBAIN! What, so people aren't allowed to be influenced by anyone anymore? Maybe he just adopted some of the style of Kurt Cobain into his performance because its damn awesome. Which it is.

and to be honest Nirvana and The vines were both clearly influenced by the Beatles. They don't sound like Nirvana, they sound like John Lennon.. AS do Oasis,As do the killers,as do the hives, as do Jet, as do BabyShambles, as do many fucking people and bands so the Nirvana stans need to stop, Kurts influence on these bands is DWARFED by the Beatles.

Engh. That's a tough line to sell. It's entirely possible that The Vines never listened to the Beatles. Sure rock music has it's threads, but a band who listens to Nirvana is influenced by Nirvana.
@therotiv48 жыл бұрын
but the vines has listened the beatles more Craig Nicholls
@brodydamongoose24468 жыл бұрын
The Vines have listened to the beatles listen to the song called Manger by The Vines. They sing that "The Beatles is bigger than jesus" in the start of that song.
@joshoswald63936 жыл бұрын
IH8COMMERCIALRNB why does everyone feel the need to cram the Beatles down everyone’s throats? Clearly they were an influential band. But it is not true, at least in my opinion, that any band has had any more influence than any other. Nirvana was and still is a massive influence. As are the Beatles, as are the ramones, as is muddy waters, as is Jimi Hendrix. It just doesn’t matter
