This is all well and good Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team, but for regular fans like us, it's heaven, but we'll probably never get to experience it. How about you choose a couple of us fans randomly and host them? That would be really cool and such a Mercedes thing to do.

I understand a lot of fans are bummed that they can't be part of this but it seems to me that the point of these hospitality suites is to woo guests and satisfy their sponsors. Fans have already been wooed into loving the team😂

Thank you Mercedes AMG F1 for an eye opening presentation of the F1 Paddock club hospitality. As a fan all they way from Kenya, I can only imagine how the experience is exquisite there and I can only dream and work hard to try and experience the paddock club one day. Even tho I know this is a part of F1 I did not realize how huge of a part it is and how much money is invested in this kind of stuff. As someone who has primarily been about racing and technology this feels like a lot of money is invested into things that don't actually have to do with F1 but more with glitz and glamor for people who are there for just that.

@@zintlemvana7955 Exactly. Marketing is part of the business, and as stated in the video, they invite c-level executives of their partners, stakeholders and sponsors. If you are the owner and ceo of a successful company, always loved f1 and want sponsor an f1 team, but which one to choose? You can have a personal favorite, but these events does matter in these decisions. Make no mistake, none of the f1 teams would organize these events if it didn’t benefit the f1 team, either by generating brand awareness , or sponsorship money.

Unfortunately for we poor peasants[!] it's those people with the glitzy and glamorous lifestyles who will eventually part with their money to sponsor the F1 teams - so Mercedes pay an awful lot of money out BUT the returns are immense. Also, after becoming sponsors, the lifestyle of the rich and famous becomes even more luxurious and exciting for them when they then go on to meet and mingle with the elite in the sport and entertainment world. So the sponsorship idea does work both ways.

I just watched the Montréal GP from the Paddock Club. The Mercedes suite was by far nicest and most posh of any team’s hospitality suite. But there is a big difference between Mercedes’ suite and the others. You can buy your way into just about all of the other teams’ suites including Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Haas, etc. But you cannot buy your way into the Mercedes suite. You have to get in through the team or a sponsor. This was confirmed to me by the hosts at the Mercedes suite’s front desk. Perhaps the most accessible way in is that Marriott Bonvoy auctions off spots in the suite using Marriott points. But the amount of points required to get a spot is massive, especially for US races. There are also some opportunities if you buy a driving tour experience through Mercedes such as in Hungary. But it is not easy. The entry process to the other suites is infinitely easier. Although none of those looked remotely as nice as the Mercedes suite. Bottom line - Mercedes maintains big time exclusivity around its suite and is not shy about it. If you are a life long AMG customer and fan of the team I could understand this being a bit of a downer to them.

You could have such clubs at some of the non Fi hosting countries too where Ritz Carlton have a presence, Have a F1 club over a Race Weekend in any of the Ritz Carlton hotels with A listers of that country. Local Mercedes dealers could help coordinate too. This would help spread F1 awareness and also market the brands in those countries. India is a good country to start this with, in my opinion.

What a cracking experience..... more than likely only for potential investors, corporate packages an the rich and famous..I would bet my house that 95% of them know very little to zero about Formula 1. Sad world we live in where "celebrities" get better treatment than the average citizen. "Celebrities" more often than not contribute nothing to the good of the world except a form of "entertainment" that is quick and eventless. I'd like to see Mercedes-AMG Petronas (and all other Teams) offer X number of tickets per race where they randomly select base ticket holders the opportunity to get the BEST access available. Be better.

Kudos to the team. What I have an issue with is the real fans who are the most deserving do not have access to any of these things. I have watched numerous videos of celebrities and social media influencers getting free invites to such hospitality events because their social status and good looks. This is such a sad reality of F1…
