When he said "Jared didn’t ask for it" and you can hear his voice breaking, you can tell he truly feels the pressure of expectation he’s under and it scares him a little bit. I love that Roy was able to let him know that the journey he’s on is his destiny and he can’t run from it. More is expected from him.🙏🏾

Jared showed his feminine side by saying "I didn't ask for it"!! I think he's an excellent prospect for the title but doubting yourself? It's like he needs to see The Wiz for some more heart ♥

@@Jay-qn1cs feminine side? SMH, you sound like somebody who’s never had great expectations placed on them. He’s a 23 year old young man with the weight of the world on his shoulders to be the next "Great American Heavyweight” that’s a lot of pressure to put on someone especially if they don’t really love the sport like he’s admitted before. Until you’ve been in a similar position watch who the fuck you’re calling feminine, cause I know you wouldn’t say that shit to his face.🤨

@@Jay-qn1cs Yup every mother wouldn't sacrifice themselves for their kids. Some moms see their kids as a burden. Self-centered, narcissistic and abusive moms are out there. But perhaps Jared is close with mom and Roy knows that? Otherwise it's jumping to conclusions when you talk about another man's parents without not knowing if they have a tight relationship or are estranged.

This was one of those rare landmark interviews with an up & coming generational talent. This kids not afraid of any man. This is scary because, like he said, he's just 23 & everything is changing for him at light speed. That makes ya dizzy. We tend to think that mastering your craft is the had part, but that's just the begining. The toughest part is dealing with everything that comes with it ! This kids got heart in more ways than one. It feels like he's another Joe Lewis to me. I can see him not only being the champ, but dominating the Heavyweight decision for as long as he wants, but he's gotta want it !

Whether a boxer or a brick layer, that feeling of "too much" always comes, fight through it till the end enough times, and one will become so confident in oneself and even a motivation to others! And by God there is not enough of these type of men with this "throw away get a new one" mentallity we have nowadays.
