They actually reference this. I literally never noticed it the first time watching the movie. The Gym Teacher details a plan to ‘create a symphony of death’ and start bodying kids with band/orchestra instruments (I have heard that a piccolo can do lasting damage to a face). Sub (Frodo) disagrees and suggests they sneak into the office to get the phones. Gym Teacher calls him a ‘hobbit’, like “you’re small and like to sneak around like a hobbit but I’m an Orc”.

Let's be honest. School K-12 fail in teaching anything. Even academic subjects that prepare you for college.
@bobw16783 жыл бұрын
@@whoisheiforgothisname2103 This is sadly true. You need to be in one of the "advanced" programs to even get a passable education from school these days. I went through grade school a while back and about 3/4s of my teachers just didnt give a dam, barely taught anything, didnt care about the kids. Looking back I'm 90% sure it was bc they were protected by their union and knew they couldnt get fired.
@whoisheiforgothisname21033 жыл бұрын
@@bobw1678 I think the failure of the school system is more than just the unions, It is just that the current curriculum isn't working, students don't remember anything after the test and once they graduate they don't want to learn more and major in complicated fields like Physics or math. Property taxes causes poor neighborhoods like slums have schools that are poorly maintained so you have these crumbling schools that aren't going to provide those kids the opportunity to move up the wealth ladder. I don't think Unions are the problem, I think Unions are the few good things of being a teacher. Being a teacher is very difficult because you need to plan out the lesson, so often teachers make these very simple questions that they can scantron or glance at, that is the issue with teachers I don't deny there is the bad that the bad aren't seperated by the good but It is more a symptom not the problem of the broader issue. TLDR: We have a problem with property taxes and the curriculum doesn't work, the teachers need to make very simplified multiple choice question tests that don't prove mastery and most students leave the test the next day knowing nothing.

As I said in the last upload, approximately: I wonder how a sequel would even work. My musings on this will, admittedly, ignore the fact that the dark comedy tone of the first movie means the sequel would feature incompetence from global leaders or people on the ground. So! There's already the fact that the virus likely burns out the body within like, a few days. It's going to run out of suitable hosts to spread it pretty quickly, because the amount of individuals it can impact so severely is gonna, well, go down real fast. Combine that with the fact that the burning of cities and the existence of the virus makes it onto the news, and the leaders of various countries will likely make snap decisions to shut their borders to anyone from the US. Along the borders to Canada and Mexico, this is obviously gonna be a lot more difficult to enforce, so there's likely gonna be problems there. The further away a country is, the better they can prepare. Additionally, the spread's gonna be further limited between people having time to prepare, and the probable short lifespans of hosts. Fort Chicken is in Illinois, and I WAS going to note the state's population density but uh. Chicago is north of Danville so that's likely a problem. Still though, other states will likely have time to mobilize troops and realistically, I don't think a bunch of feral children stand much of a chance against the actual military. So really, this is something that could be bounced back from, *if* we look at it from a real-world angle. In the reality of the setting, things would probably get real fucked.
@coolgirlNbloomingt3 жыл бұрын
Not to mention it only really spreads through children so just keep children locked up in thier homes for a while till all these host kids meat suits breakdown. Protecting kids is something most people would naturally do preventing the spread. Most of these infected kids cant open doors or operate with much higher thought. Numbers wise there are way less kids than adults ( especially since its only prepubescent kids) and even if they didnt expire quickly as it strongly seems they will my estimate is every 3 adults only has to take out 1 kid. And thats not considering very younge children who get the disease 0-2 wont really be able to do much in the way of combat. Only big downside is they are kids and Most people will not want to attack them especially if they are thier own child which could lead to perimiter breaches letting the virus spread. However after word has gotten out theres no real excuse for people not being more prepared.
@inolongerusethisaccount40043 жыл бұрын

I work for a company that produces chicken I like that you touch on the precautions we have to take It is no joke about all the precautions we have to go through to prevent anything from spreading between chicken houses and farms Some info Every few months (usually 3) every farm gets a new flock, depending on the sizes of their farms they get more chicks than others We test every flock (kinda randomly but flocks that show more vulnerabilities or issues will get tested more frequently) When supervisors visit farms to vaccinate or test how the current flocks are doing, they must put on protective clothing when going into any chicken house (farms will have multiple to house all the chickens) They must put on fresh gear between each house to prevent any cross contamination Plus our workers aren’t allowed to have chicken coops at home (some do have farms but they have contracts with the company and go through the same regulations as all the companies farms) There’s a bunch more of smaller things to prevent parasites, viruses, and any sicknesses jumping from one farm to another :) Now I don’t directly go to farms myself much, tho I did a few times when I first started my job just so I could understand some of the terms and things I’d be seeing in my work It was very annoying to put on what was basically a hazmat suit that was for a 6’5” man (I’m 5’1”) plastic boot covers, masks, hairnets, and gloves between every chicken house in 90° And yes this is very wasteful which sucks but there isn’t much more the company will do to change this lmao

It's really interesting to hear you talk about how illness affect men and women! I have a friend taking HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and they've been experiencing so many changes surrounding illness. To be clear, they're AFAB and taking testosterone. They've found they're getting sick more often and easier. Previously they could catch the flu and just keep going. Now? They turn into a baby 😅it's fascinating. They also mentioned having a much lower pain tolerance now, but thicker skin. Knicks and oil from a pan don't hurt so much anymore, but stubbing their toe is CRIPPLING 🤣

No shame in admitting I’d make it to about 10-20 waves. First graders have A LOT more energy than you think. Unless you one shot them all every time, you might not make it to 60 waves, let alone 50 with fifth graders in the mix

How many first graders could I fight is a question to which the answer is dictated by a few factors. One: do I have some choice of armaments? Two: how much prep time do I have? Three: What environment would I be fighting in? Going off the setting of the movie, being a reasonably fit adult with some experience in fighting, I'd say there's a good chance I could probably deal with at least a dozen, since as long as I've taken some protective measures, it shouldn't be hard to make quick, decisive blows to eliminate an opponent in a life/death scenario.

Answering your question, I think I could reach up to wave 25 or 30 max. depending on how the waves happen. If they stay the same number and attack one by one, without a timelimit, then I think I would reach wave 30 without much trouble. If there's a timelimit, then it would be a bit more trouble, maybe wave 20ish. If there's no timelimit but growing numbers in each wave but still one by one attacks, maybe wave 25, due to me outruning them or keeping 1 softlocked to catch my breath. If it's full on BR style with timelimit, all attack at once AND growing numbers, wave 15 tops. Also, would I be allowed mellee weapons after/during the Boss-fight? If yes, then I'd be able to reach wave 20ish pretty regularly. Furthermore, what is the timespan between the waves or advance the waves seamless without, like Idk a 5 min. break to catch breath and/or repair damaged equiptment, and can I loot the slain enemies for resources to craft/repair helpful stuff?

10:50 things that you can use: Glucose tablets(usually in nurses office) Glucose gel(more effective that prior, also nurse) candy(available about everywhere) A soda(this works about the fastest, much like the gel) Pure sugar(I won’t even elaborate) Bread(slow but works, chicken nuggets and tenders don’t have enough density, I mean actual bread) Rice/potatos(starch, fast and you don’t need more than a cup or two) Tree bark(starches) A1 sauce (a decent bit of sugar)
