As I was listening to you, I couldn't stop saying 'tal cual,' which in English means 'exactly.' The anxiety and frustration of wanting to fix every wrong is real. Thanks for these podcasts, greetings from Argentina.

This podcast is so timely for the happenings of the present time. It is an extremely sad situation that one is only tolerated if one is in step with the majority. Thank you.

Fr Pine describes the coffeehouse experience just as I was making my pour-over from beans roasted by that place. Best espresso and coffee in general!

How awesome, Fathers, that you are persecuted for the Kingdom, by modern tolerant society. Lots of Jesus points for you!

A special note: Down here in Lima, Peru, we have just this minute seen a Facebook post by Fr Rómulo Vásquez Gavidia, OP, the Prior Provincial of the Dominicans in Peru, asking us to pray for Father Gustavo Gutiérrez, OP, the legendary liberation theologian, who is 96 and has been in poor health for some time. The Provincial tells us that Father Gutiérrez is in a "very fragile state" at the moment, which I can only assume means he is preparing to leave for the House of the Father.

Archbishop Chaput explains it well. Tolerance in and of itself is not a Christian virtue. It has its limits, in that some things ought not be tolerated

I have not been tolerant for the last few years.

you both are trying to be charitable. Start with definition? Your im-precision is ironically/coincidentally an expression of loosening of standards (ie. Tolerance)
