i'm described as a shy person, but overtime I used to hate hearing it, as it was used as something negative, it was only few years ago that someone said that shyness protected me from soo much which when i thought about it was true, and now its a trait that i love about myself. this lecture really has benefited me a lot. My notes All bad manners is the key to all evil, and good manners حسن الخلق every good comes from it. Shyness is the greatest quality of good manners, if حسن الخلق had a spectrum, shyness would be the highest level of it. If ‏الله wants to destroy someone, he removed shyness from them. Shyness stops us from doing wrong, without this we would do everything. There’s no weakness in being shy. Be shy in front of ‏الله. There’s thing we wouldn’t do in front of our parents or the imam, so why would we do this in front of ‏الله. Shyness isn’t running away from the deen, it didn’t stop the women of ansar from learning the deen. A shy person and an arrogant person will never learn. 3 ways to move the heart to shyness 1. Look at your blessings ‏الله gave you. You can’t ever count his blessing he’s bestowed upon you. Therefore show your gratitude. 2. Look at your deficiencies towards ‏الله rights. Where are you regarding things that are haram, or what ‏الله asked you to stay away from. 3. Knowing ‏الله is always looking over you. This is تق و الله there’s nothing hidden from ‏الله regarding your affairs.

Shaykh I really respect you ما شاء الله you are doing a lot for the muslims. May Allah accept ur efforts. I used to watch madina series from a guy call imam Jibreel Muhsin but his videos were taken down, they were truly amazing clear and detailed but I really feel gutted and wish I could learn Arabic and have more kushoo in my salah and recitation of quran etc... As a personal request, I know u do not know me and I am nobody and I'm sure you are busy with other things but IF you get a chance can you teach the madina books online and post it up. Esp as u do so many courses so quickly I'd really love it if I can continue from where I left off. If you have online classes can I get the details, I mean live ones جزاك الله خير

@@afiandure6744 may Allah reward you. However I was always told to use the right teacher when seeking knowledge. The brother seems great but I would prefer someone from uk or US just because they can relate and it makes more sense. Plus no pronunciation issues. Walahi I'm not dissing the brother he is probably better than everyone but just as a personal preference. May Allah give us sincerity. I am like this because I tried something like this b4 and I struggled but with the course I was doing I was flying through it just because of the relevance. I don't know how to explain.

What he meant to say (Wallaahu 'A'lam) or I understood it as is ... "A Shy person and an arrogant person will never learn" meaning relating to the matters of the deen. He explained it before he said that last hadiith, " You can't be shy when it comes to your religion"... i hope I clarified it good enough... May Allaah increase us in our knowledge of the deen and make us of those that are shy... and May Allaah reward Ustaadh Abdirahman Hassan abundantly as he is a source of the pure sunnaah ...
