I witnessed a close friend of mine become a rock star.. The Weeknd. I introduced my friend into the craft of sound, and felt left behind when he blew up globally. I spiraled into a deep dark depression, learning from an early age there is no friends in business. It forced me to find a day job.. I started working for a bricklayer and fell in love with Masonry. My left hand path was extremely painful but, it made a man out of me. Years of developing my skills, love of the trade... and I eventually rebuilt the El Mocambo, where I played my first concert at when I was 15. From there I met Eddie Kramer, who recorded Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones... Woodstock !!? He introduced me to his protege, and I just completed my first full length album with one of my best friends. Without that heart break at 20 I would have never gotten such a divine opportunity to meet one of my hero’s. Now I’m working with his successor. When things seem dark and down, just KNOW it is a test from the universe. The only way to see the light is to be buried in darkness. To anyone fighting to survive, don’t give up. This is a test of faith in the universe.

Really good lecture that exposes a lot of problems with modern material thinking and the whole concept of "manifesting money." Too many don't want to do the inner work that may lead to wealth from the knowledge one obtains along the journey. They want to bend natural law to their will. Hall says here that natural law must be obeyed. Powerful.

Well resurrection I suppose has some similar themes. Manly was a 33 degree Freemason though so I don't know how much of that influenced his perspectives. These probably seemed like forbidden knowledge to some but it is historical there were ancient chemists and astronomers etc. He discusses various spiritual topics in his lectures not just Christianity. He advises against certain occult principals also but mentions guardian angels and all sorts of fascinating things. If Harry Potter were real this is the sort of guy who would have taught the students. Personally I prefer real people to fictitious characters and Manly is the real deal. A very mystical almost magical person imo.

If the first stage in alchemy is purification, and if the goal for a good alchemist is to start by purifying themselves then what better place to start then with diet?.. considering the fact that we are what we eat.. and if that is true then what better source is there for the healthiest nutrition other than home grown fresh plant foods? So starting a self purification process is basically the same as starting a garden. As one cultivates and maintains the garden in their mind they’re simultaneously cultivating and maintaining a veggie garden outside to produce the cleanest source of nutrition for their body and mind. The mantras serve a function for each vowel sound:"i" like "tea" draws energy inward, "e" like "them" vibrates the throat, "o" like "home" vibrates the chest vertically, "u" like "two" vibrates the chest horizontally, "a" like "tom" vibrates the lower torso. It's very interesting he said "Fire principle which is Emotion" because I've heard Aries-which is said to be a "fire" sign-is the "Emotional Hero."
