When you have worked so hard… and so long… made a little headway, but then kind of feel like you hit a ceiling, you hear this and think, “Is Eli actually a baritone that learned this? Or is he just a fluke? Like a gym rat with great genes selling a bow flex?” It really seems authentic… I am a believer in hard work and commitment… I imagine anyone listening has already tried some other things that are out there. It sounds like he really gets this and if he has a track record of students he has helped, his approach probably will help. Hmmmm… VIP sounds like exposure to all of it and maybe I’m typing this to have some accountability. Man I want this to work… I feel like I have stopped short of actually getting to where I really want to be and this sounds like it can help me… I’ll take the time and do the work, I just want to know that this path reaches the summit. Earlier today I had to lower the key of a song, not because it sounded better, but because I couldn’t quite hit the C#… and the practice I was doing seemed to be working against me.

Hey Joe, I'm definitely not a "gym rat with good vocal genes", LOL! I hade zero skills and zero natural ability. Everything you've heard me sing and demonstrate came from hard work and dedication. I got tired of hearing people telling me to give up this dream and get back behind the drumkit, because my voice is too deep and it's impossible for me. The only advantage I had was that I didn't have the whole "vocal coach horror stories of being told, "you're a baritone, get over this ridiculous fantasy of singing high". I struck gold and found the best vocal coach I've every had or seen anywhere. He put no limitations on me and we went right to work, and I earned every note. (No magic wand). In my course, I put a tremendous amount of content and information in there, including an entire troubleshooting section for every exercise! I do as much as possible to help my students get things right and avoid common mistakes. It's there for you if you want it. I would even go as far as to say, go ahead and try all the others first. I'll be waiting.

​@@EliPrinsensHVTVocals I appreciate your vulnerability about your history (hard to believe when I hear some of your covers) - You have my attention - Since I've tried a few other things (quite a few) and made a little headway, but every time short of the goal w/o realizing what would get me over -the-hurdle. I have my A (often my Bb4/B4 but don't know why) and Tenor C/C#/D are hit and miss...when they count, they are usually a miss making me think I'm not doing anything right and should just lower the key. I actually don't mind lowering a note or two if it was my "sweet spot" but it instead, it is usually my concession to "I guess I just don't have the note." - - Leaning-in and yes, just got HVT.
