Yeah, Rose was kinda an idiot by explaining how his Bankai works. At least with Shunsuei, his Shikai relies on children's games. So, he kinda has to explain to his opponent how to play the game.

Shunsuei's shikai only works if his opponent both knows what they're playing and how it works, so he has to explain it There's a line he says about this, that goes something like "a game's no fun if you don't know how to play" or "if only one person knows how to play". I don't really remember.

Vizard's deserve better. During the blood war I wish we had the first wave of battle and not show the vizard's battles until the end and show that normal captains all lost very badly and Hype up hollow powers being more to quincy by showing the vizard's win thier battles

It won’t let me comment so I wanted to say here that my assumption is that the flap on Kensei is there because TECHNICALLY have two brass knuckles would mean he’s a dual wielder. And his zanpakto isn’t a twin zanpakto The flap connects the knuckles together making it so it’s still one weapon

Here's my issue with Rose's Bankai, even if Mask de Masculine ruptured his eardrums he should still be able to effected him. Here's why, deaf people can still "hear" music by feeling the reverberations, especially Mask de Masculine because he wasn't born deaf. Mask might not be hit by the full force of Rose's Bankai because he's not listening to the music in the conventional sense but being that he has more than likely heard music at one point in his life I would think that the reverberations would at least make his mind wander, and have unknown effects instead of what Rose might have intended. Just my rambling thoughts though

@Eric Hinton hmm.... That's a good question. I guess the easiest answer would be inconsistent writing but that sounds like a copout excuse. I think Mask was either 1) picking up on his "biggest fans" visual ques. or 2) sensing his "biggest fans" spiritual pressure and just assumed that as long as he was alive he would still be cheering for him. I'd personally go with the latter because after Renji offed that annoying meatball, mask seemed rather desperate knowing that his source of power was gone. But that's just speculation and I can't really think of another way he could hear the cheering , I hadn't given it much thought till now.

@@crimsonemperor2134 it never specifies he has to hear it. James is tied to Masc so all James has to do is cheer. For example James cheered when he was just a mouth. He wouldn't be able to do that without a living body. Its not a literal ability. Most of the Sternritter have conceptual abilities

Totally unrelated to this video, and it just came to me when he mentioned Aizen: I think the one of the smartest moves Aizen ever did was recruiting Kaname to his side. He is the only one, in theory, to be immune to Aizens zanpakuto, and by recruiting him, Aizen got rid of one of his potential weaknesses. A big brain chess move there. And btw, Lisa became the captain of 8th Division

Shinji shikai affect more than just sights.In tybw arc,he reverses speech and in cfyow novel,he inverts the directions of sound waves and said that he is training to reverse between hot and cold.I think his shikai might just be the reversal of all five senses,Complete Reversal.

Is there any reason they never actually use there mask while in bankai I know Kensei uses bankai twice and rose only uses it once but they were all important fights..They only use the mask when their swords are sealed or in shikai. Also using hollow powers while fighting Quincy and using bankai would have been dope and would make sense why they couldn’t be stollen. Just saying they should have been counters to the sternritter and really essential in the a last arc but we all know who that worked out.

I think Mashiro's Zanpakuto would be frog-themed. It'd be called Kaeurumaru and it's released command is Jump. When released, the Zanpakuto gives her armor on her legs designed like a frog's to enhance her jumping and kicking ability. I got the frog idea from BleachListGirl.

5:44 The "metal flappy thing" is cool and makes perfect sense when you consider the nature of the weaponized part of his bankai and the more up-close fighting style he uses with it. His bankai has no reach, especially compared to almost everyone elses' reach in Bleach so he has to get much more cluse-up and personal, not only that but it's harder to block and parry with obviously due to it's small size and various awkward shapes. His weapons are essentially his fists and arms but flesh is easily damaged, the flappy thing appears to be an "iron" wrapping that protects his arms and makes them as durable as a bankai, yet it's a wrapping so he still has flexibility and full range of motion with his arms, the "flappy thing" in the back is the excess that also helps protect him while he is in close quarters without restricting him. Thus his short range and short blades are compensated for, in fact it's an advantage since an arm is so much more flexible than a sword unless you're Renji.

As for Kensei's Bankai form, the weird flappy thing, believe is heavy enough to ground him so that he doesn't get blown away from the heavy winds created by his Bankai, or could be like slicker like the wings of a plane which would allow greater movement in heavy winds.

If i had to venture a guess, the Vizards probably just adjusted to living in a really chill world compared to the Soul Society, so they probably became more open to experimenting outside of using their swords. Mashiro comes off as a very whimsical person, so i imagine she probably saw some Sentai stuff and decided to dedicate herself to that. Maybe Kensei suggests she keep up her sword training, but to get out of doing that she just drops it and says she lost it mid battle or something. Hachigen also seems really chill so j could picture him just not wanting to use a sword. It could be more like a ceremonial thing, where he carries it around as a symbol of his status but doesnt actually use it in combat.

Pretty confident Hachi only teleported his rotting arm into Barregan because it was a last ditch move. Why go through all the hassle of making the big four beast barrier and having Soi-fon bankai him unless they legitimately thought it was gonna kill Barregan?

Tosens zanpaktou also had some abilities while it was sealed. When he was fighting Kenpachi, he was using some ability (don’t remember what it’s called) while the zanpaktou was sealed.

Maybe Hachi needs a target to be stationary to teleport something into it, or else he would miss. so with the beast barrier and Soi Fons Bankai would cause him to hold still and defend.
