Tony HArnell is an awesome singer...has amazing range, and Ronnie is such an unknown guitarist...he is amazing...and amazingly...they are back together again now..playing live

I was just 16 years old, when I heard that fantastically beautiful and thunderous 'scary machine gun guitar solos' of Ronni Le Tekro. That day, DJ played the whole Tell No Tales album on the radio 📻 broadcasting in a program called Rock Dünyasından at TRT FM. This was happened in the winter of 1987 at Istanbul - Türkiye 🇹🇷 🤘 Since then, I became a big TNT, especially Le Tekro admirer. Check out the short, but a very striking instrumental piece called 'Sapphire' from the same album. I mean, make a reaction video of it. You'll not be disappointed. 😊

I saw TNT live in 84 I think it was . Playing in my hometown in Norway . It was wild and very loud . Tekro and Harnell were top notch .

TNT was a remarkable Norwegian band, and was exceptional in all aspects! The only American was Tony Harnell, lead vocalist. Harnell possessed an extraordinary vocal range spanning over four octaves. The lead guitarist, Ronni Le Tekrø, was a Norwegian virtuoso. In my opinion, he was severely under-appreciated. Tony Harnell (vocals) and Ronnie Le Tekro (lead guitar) are so talented. They're both still making music. TNT has a different singer (Tony Mills) who's very talented too. Tony Harnell sings with Starbreaker nowadays, which i like even more. Gotta check both of them out.

Back then, when i was dreaming og being as good as those guys, it seemed unrealistic ever to achive this level. But knowing more about playing today, the secret is mostly fast picking. @lisso71, Nah, I beg to differ my friend, only Tell No Tales! Blah,ha,ha!!! The timbre of Tony Harnell's voice has a lot more original flavor to it than Tommy trying to cover Tony's tune. No disrespect to Tommy at all I dig the dude & think he's got a killer set of pipes on him no doubt! But, it is what it is & it's Tony Harnell & TNT's tune, period.
