We needed this to validate the "LSU is only a QB away" saying that's been the main criticism of our teams for the past decade. The change in offensive philosophy definitely helped, but getting a QB of the caliber that Burrow is was huge. Next time LSU comes calling to some 5* QB from Pittsburgh or California or Washington, they will have to seriously consider it.

Most games. Florida, Auburn, Bama, and Clemson were 4 quarters-- the rest, like you said. Hell, he even took a mercy knee at the end of CFP from the 3.

Burrow had a broken hand at Ohio State and Haskins got the nod. The rest is history. Congrats to Coach O and LSU for a great season. Joey Burrow will always be a Buckeye too!

Justin Lui Brady? Really. Michigan wouldn’t even let Brady play. Burrow broke his hand for crying out loud and he transferred after Haskins got the nod. Nonetheless, Burrow will always be a Buckeye and refer to Michigan as TTUN!

We won’t see it again in our lifetime! Joe had the QB ability to drop dimes he showed it 2018 but didn’t have spring with receivers! Last 4 games they matured together and his completing percent went up to over 60% last 4. All year he was throwing balls on a dime long balls back in 2018 the receivers were dropping them they were young! Chase was freshman Jefferson was sophomore! Then come 2019 Joes ability and the receivers maturity and having spring and time together came together with the perfect storm of Brady’s playbook and Ensmingers play calling. We had maturity scheme and athletes peaking all at the same time with the best O Line in all college football! It was written in the heavens. I’m not kidding about that a bunch of rejects Coach O Burrow and Clyde Hellaire and Jefferson a 1-2 star receiver!!

No. Burrow beat 7 out of the top 10 teams in the country. With a td-int ratio of nearly 10-1 with 59td-6int. & Also being undefeated winning the heisman with a national championship. That isnt something that duplicated or surpassed within 5-10 years bruh

Kyler didn’t have the wins like burrow. Burrow threw more that season than kyler had thrown in his entire career, 40td against statistically weaker teams or 60td against 7 top ten teams.
