This video is dedicated to @MikeEgypte for suggesting this topic 🥰 Although some people may turn up their noses, I added a video from The Voice Kids Russia, because it features an audition of the song "Feelings" by Brazilian singer Morris Albert. A musical masterpiece! Watch the original audio at this link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4WrgZhtrKuAhbs

I'm so grateful that Mike Egypt's well-considered suggestion fostered this exciting collection. And I've no problem whatsoever about recognizing the fine musical contributions from Russia, despite that nation's extraordinarily bad odor in these parlous times. As is commonly advised: _Don't throw out the baby with the bath,_ LOL. In addition, the link to Brazilian Morris Albert's self-written song, "Feelings" (1974), blew my mind and touched my heart. Thank you, Pure! 👍👍

Although I have seen a few of these before, I constantly found myself thinking over and over again that the other coaches were crazy for not turning for these contestants!! There’s so much talent there that they missed out on, which certainly ended up benefiting the winning coach. Bravo! 👏 Thanks, as always, dear Pure!! 💕💕

Good video! My favorite Erlend Gunstveit performance is "July", the knockout round with Maren Emilie. Highly recommended. Tbh I miss the Voice Kids Russia. So much talent and good music. This war is such a waste. Anyway, IIRC Kendji Girac went on to become a coach on the Voice Kids France. All in all a very good collection of singers.

eco2geek Thank you so much ... I watched the video between Erlend and Maren. I've been planning a "Romantic Battles That Became a Duet" type video for a long time. Thank you for supporting this idea 🥰 War only makes us losers, no matter the outcome, IMO.

Great selection of one chair turn winners, Pure. It only takes one judge to take you to the finals!

Jake Hoot is my special favorite of these many great performances. But then, being a old-school cattle rancher, both by choice and by heritage (estab. in Texas since the early 1830's), perhaps it's understandable that I should lean that way, lol. My next favorite was Craig Eddie --- wow! ---- and the inclusion of young Vladislav Tyukin is meet and proper, too. _Muito, muito obrigado,_ *pureemotionmusic.* Happy Saturday, everyone!

This is an inspired set of auditions, with thanks to Mike E. and the contestants who weather the struggle to be on the show...I do fail to see why the Vladislav Tyukin piece should be controversial, as he demonstrated exceptional technical skill for his audition. And to second a phrase, a masterpiece indeed. Except for one (unnamed) all of these one chair turns gave emotional and heartfelt performances that reiterate the point of music to my mind. Technical perfection is fine and even expected, but only the emotional storytelling is for me the point of the sung word...thanks to Pure for this sterling group who demonstrate this so well...

All you need is one coach to believe. Erlend, as an example, got the correct coach to turn. And to be fair, in some cases one or more of the other coaches had full teams, e.g. UK

I'm very happy to see this edition. Thanks Mike E. for the suggestion. I love the one chair turn to winner idea. Alas, my favorite one chair winner was not among your selections. There are many great winners to choose from and you already had two from The Voice UK, so this is certainly not a complaint. But my favorite one chair win is from the UK when Sir Tom turned for Ruti Olajugbagbe ( yes, I had to look up that spelling). She has a lovely and very unique voice. Well done, Pure!!
@dhamma582 ай бұрын
Glad you reminded me of Ruti, she was so unique and deserving that year...and I always have pulled for Sir Tom, if only for the length and breadth of his career.

Dan, thank you for the suggestion of watching Ruti with Sir Tom. She has excellent composure and quite a distinctive voice for 18 (at the time it was aired). I enjoyed watching and listening to her!👍

Proves that someone who can sing is not necessarily an expert at what makes a good singer. Or, a good auto mechanic does not necessarily make a good engine designer.

Que vergonha! Eu não sabia que a música "Feelings" foi composta por um brasileiro...que coisa!! Bom, eu sempre aprendo muito com você, Pure Emotion! A música é linda!
