The Voice Teens Philippines Live Show: Mica Becerro - Bridge Over Troubled Water

The Voice Teens is a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.
This is the third version of The Voice franchise, after The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids; this is also the second The Voice Teens franchise in the world and the first in Asia.

The US has Broadway, though. And people have high respect to those who do theater or sing classical music because they know how much work it demands to do a spot-on performance. These genres are better appreciated and received in European countries. :)

As a teen, Mica is a real and rare talent. Knowing that classical music is not generally admired here (not known to young masses), still she is fearless and dynamic to go on with her objective, to introduce the genre she loves yet not appreciated by many. Her courage alone is truly admirable. In this country where pop and ballad are the tradition and most popular in the mainstream, Mica is showing that keen determination to showcase her unconventional yet solid skill. After few years of airing The Voice Philippines, Mica is indeed a genuine fresh addition. Win or lose, she has already marked her name in this competition. Good luck!
