The more I listen to Julian's music, the more I'm impressed with him. The Strokes are obviously great. And as is Phrazes For The Young. But the fact that he can also write a song like this for another band, is just insane. This song has so many good elements, that it's just crazy. Well done Julian + The Voidz

I gotta disagree with anyone saying this could be a "Strokes" song. This has Voidz signature all over. The management of two guitars with heavy guitar effects, the percussion lines, and the synths are more intricate than Stroke's songs. With that being said, the first two minutes of this song are reminiscent of the 80's a la The Cars and it's just awesome. Can't wait for the new record.

Homer Simpson I have to disagree. I think this is very reminiscent to the strokes. More like something that would've come out on comedown machine or on angles. Although yes I think the synth gives it the voidz sound. The distortions on the guitar aren't very different from some the strokes have used in the past. I'm not saying it sounds exactly like a strokes song but they definitely could be compared.
