I gotta disagree with anyone saying this could be a "Strokes" song. This has Voidz signature all over. The management of two guitars with heavy guitar effects, the percussion lines, and the synths are more intricate than Stroke's songs. With that being said, the first two minutes of this song are reminiscent of the 80's a la The Cars and it's just awesome. Can't wait for the new record.

Homer Simpson I have to disagree. I think this is very reminiscent to the strokes. More like something that would've come out on comedown machine or on angles. Although yes I think the synth gives it the voidz sound. The distortions on the guitar aren't very different from some the strokes have used in the past. I'm not saying it sounds exactly like a strokes song but they definitely could be compared.

Live Vocal Production has come a long way. You can do all sorts of software processing with low enough latency to make it live. It's also possible to tune on the fly (live), and it doesn't have to be perfect, can just be a soft correct. However, I don't think there was any tuning here, just lots of processing to make it sound present, compressed, and distorted. In this day of age you can pretty much match whats done on a record, and do it live. I can even do it with my laptop, and I'm just an amateur. All that to say that I think Julian's vocals were live and his performance was great, I think he's really honed his craft and achieved great control over this voice. It's never been better, Kudos!
