you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink... After all, we have the power to decide what we want, even if others want us to think like them...

You guys covered this Michael Cassidy song quite well. His version was way more fast and up beat which is cool, but the lyrics fit so much better with The Voidz version of it. 😎 One of my fav songs to listen to while driving thru the forest out here in Oregon. This whole album is a fucking masterpiece, never a disappointment Voidz, looking forward to album # 3 😁

Was just listening to the album again today, and this song stood out on this listen. I had to find a way to share it and luckily you guys posted this video yesterday.

As a child I had no knowledge No way to understand My father kept me sheltered He would hold me in his hands You know I was protected With no threat from anywhere I drank my mothers milk I didn't have a care But it didn't last forever I was soon sent off to school Where the teachers gave me poison And I drank it like a fool We took pride in our past What our leaders said they'd fight for To justify the murders Of the children in the war Is said that our mother nature Couldn't give us what we need And that explained the factories And the pollution in the street They gave us all the facts Explaining economic war And like a fool I listened But I won't listen anymore So before the final slaughter Please, stop and think You can lead a horse to the water But you cannot make him drink So before the final slaughter Please, stop and think You can lead a horse to the water But you cannot make him drink

Recommend K. by Cigarettes after sex, a similar tone at 2:10 is in the song.

Good eye! The musical reason for this is that the song uses C, G, F, Dm, and i think an Em or Am towards the outro. All these chords and the key of this song are heavily used in tons of music, so if you look hard enough, you can find similar songs all over the place. A lot of people get sad when they find out songs sound similar, because they think the artists steal from each other, but the reality is many songs that are in a similar tempo and same Key will share tons of similarities.
