Could not be classically punk if it tipped the timer over the 3 minute mark. Purists would argue 3 minutes is already a breakaway pattern from traditional punk genre song layout and length. I really enjoyed the lyrical pattern choices as well. Such as lack of repetition of words, including a clear chorus. But the singer keeps the listener engaged, and the music itself drives the song forward at a quick clip. The band itself is tight. I really like this song. 🎉

Way back in the day (2004), I saw this band and the Donnas play a live show in a tiny little venue in Pittsburgh. And they was AMAZING! Other than the music, the thing I remember most was that it was my birthday and I went with one of my close friends who was very shocked that I suggested it (she loves this genre and didn't know that I did as well).

Man, those early 2000s garage rock tunes were something. They started with the drums and riffs blasting like hell, hitting you like a frickin' freight train of awesomness, then followed by a beaten up distortion pedal and the kids howling their hearts out like if they were being dragged to Irak....and then, suddenly, the song ended like it started, after 2 or 2 minutes in a half, tops. What a ride!!!

I used to watch The kids from Degrassi street then Degrassi junior high, Degrassi High then Degrassi the next generation came out. My mom and i used to watch every Friday night and during episodes teen nick used to play music videos. Now I'm talking 2003-2004. I was in my mid twenties and m9m in her early 50's when this video came on and we heard the words clearly we both sighed at the end because we bought identified with the song. Mom passed in 2013 but everytime I here this song she comes to me and i can see use singing together.
