My experience playing was hilarious. I had a lot of stomach problems and food problems so I was running around eating mushrooms and I was like “ah green! Good!” And yknow not bad stuff from them. Then I stumbled upon a mushroom that was evil. It was draining my health and hunger and overall bad for me, then I was like “if I eat my health and hunger go up!” And every time I ate I vomited, freaking out and running through the jungle like a maniac, and vomiting the entire time from one mushroom. I didn’t put it together eating food was the problem

what kevin did is exactly what i did in first 2 days lol. The game really need to teach us more to tutorials than just making fire and show what button should we press lol. - How do you get tinder is from harvesting leafs, and let it sit on ground or your backpacks for a day to make it dry enough to make tinder - finding bird nest that a bit rare in starting place - harvesting big leafs like banana and palm - small rock can be harvested from big rock - planks come from cutting big log, and sadly only drop 1 or 2 - your water bottle is coconut bidon, make one coconut + liara. You can purify the water in tortoise shell or actual metal pot - How to get clean water is via using coconut as bowl and make sure it face up until you find bigger bowl like tortoise shell or crafting the god awful mud water filter that works better as water bucket than actually using it for filtering dirty water - Best food source is banana since it was easy to find for carbs, snail for proteins, grub for proteins, and crafting long spear and hunt those arowana on the 1st pond fast. Dont forget discard the skin since it was useless in main game. - Find snare trap quickly since it the most OP trap, you just need to go far away from it while not looking at it and in 4-5 minutes you can catch capybara and tapir endlessly. Suddenly food isnt a big problem lol. Rotting food and lack of storages become problems. - once you get to base game survival, kill the tribes since their gears is the best of all. Don't forget to cannibalize too since their meat is so many and last enough to feed you for a week if you dry or smoke it - make bow, the most insta kill weapon in game, finding feather is easy since many dead macaw scattered - if you get infection, drop maggots to open the wound and then bandage it - maggots came from rotten meat, so if meat is abundants. Its good to let some of them rot - maggots also usable for fish traps, second most powerful trap for food source in game - make an obsidian axe that easy to find in many caves, even the 1st cave you see when you start playing the game. It always respawn in 3 days, and more durable than stone axe, also cheaper. the rest, theres many youtube guides for it. But if Kevin see, this will take you to more weirder places in game and i want to see you get there one day. especially the gold mines..
