Dude! Perhaps I just never noticed b4 but...Seeing your wife out ALSO bustin her butt to help brings a smile to my face. You got a good one! Since the Sugar Momma car and now the Camaro being built, my eyes are noticing how much she's there and works. Do you really have any idea on how lucky you are to have a sweetheart that has your back and props you up? You should. A real winner of a family! You're living the dream.

I don't think she was in the videos before........I would have noticed a woman hanging around. Not only is she easy on the eyes, but she is into racing and cars and is helping him. The dynamic with Kyle (spelling) also doing videos and the family thing is great. I love the Kyle videos and wish I was as lucky as Steve and could find a partner in life. I'm glad she is part of the show now. This is the real reality TV, showing the real thing, as much as they want to share, vs. the made up drama of tv that leaves out so much and instead repeats the same stuff over and over. Show us the good, bad, and random different parts instead tv shows that skip the everyday things....how do gold miners get supplies, where do they stay, how do they feed a site full of people, or deal with holding tanks from a bunch of RV's? KZbinrs are far more transparent.

Steve, I love the fact that you leave in the little bloopers. You've clearly become a master of engines/race cars proof being the wagon and countless other cars that take advantage of your platform and experience. The little video bloopers just show your dedication to mastering another craft and making these videos even better.

My grandmother's 90's wagon, issued by pick n save in SoCal as a company vehicle, wasn't anything like this........well it looked almost the same but in blue. She bought it when she left that job and drove it in retirement and up until cancer took her in 2019. Watching these videos reminds me of her and if she was still alive, I would stop by and show her a SM video on my phone of what a wagon could do. My grandfather had a 70 torrino cobra jet and a few other muscle cars, so they were much like the typical people who grew up around hot rodding and could appreciate this kind of stuff.

I was like, that's weird, I've never seen them test the chute deployment before, but maybe he wanted to be safe and not be like Bailey in his Camaro a while back. Then when he said the 5.5 chute deployment, I realized that must have been the ONLY parameter he set was time, and not time + MPH.
@CGT80
@CGT80 7 ай бұрын
@@FastSS02 I don't remember if it was Cleetus or Alex who killed the brakes on Tom's car when the chutes failed on their licensing run.......maybe Cleetus, but it made me think that Steve purposely tested them without telling anyone he was going to do it. Cleetus and George have also ended up in the sand/dirt at the end of the track before, so "failure is always an option" as Adam Savage says.

Glad to see the Wagon in front great win you deserved it. I hated to see Tom crash well anyone for that matter. A day of rain before I went racing when I did race always kept me on edge the next day while racing and the sun out. Most would think when the track is dry it's dry totally not the case. You were spot on with that explanation of what most likely happened there. Most importantly everyone was OK it sux but it is an unfortunate part of racing sometimes.

Definitely could be a resonance frequency issue. Interesting concept to think about I wonder if the resonance frequency changes as the spring pressure changes. The general rule in the world of vibration analysis is. If you change the mass or stiffness of a given object or piece of equipment. The resonance frequency changes.
