Outerbike is the best. I'm so glad we were able to attend together.

As always, so great to have you here in Moab! A smaller event is better than no event and we thank everyone who came out to ride. And ofcourse for the brands that made it out this fall as we couldn't have done it without them. Stay Dusty! :)

Can you remember what model the stumpjumper was ??
@robertmarkus70073 жыл бұрын
How does climbing and descending of stumpjumper compare to v4 Ripley and Ripley AF?
@GiovaniUrrutia3 жыл бұрын
Agreed, with all your time on the Ripley I'd love to know too.

Because the stumpy is a little bit longer, when you stand up to climb there's a little more distance to cover to get your weight forward. It's not a big deal but it's an adjustment if you come from riding a shorter bike. But also because it's longer, it feels more stable and your little more stretched out when you're descending which feels really good. It's not quite as nimble as the Ripley, but it will certainly get the job done you just have to give it a little more body English. The cockpit actually feels a lot like the ripmo with less travel (if that makes sense.) It's a pretty slick setup. I also feel like the suspension tune on the specialized pumps better than what comes stock on the Ripley. I mean, you can fine tune your suspension to feel however you want it to, but they're definitely going for a different feel on the specialized. Great bike.
