The Walk - EP 53 Bennerley To Watnall - Great Northern Railway - Nottinghamshire

I'm back with Phil and Andy as we tackle another stretch of the Great North Railway's Derbyshire & Staffordshire extension.
We walk from just beyond the Bennerley Viaduct, through the former Awsworth station, past the site of the incredible 'forty bridges' viaduct and into Kimberley East station, before following the trackbed under the M1 motorway, and finishing up just beyond the village of Watnall.

Yea...one minute your in a sort of water feature cutting then you look up and see a huge pile of earth in front of you with steps going up !
