Thanks for another great video, Chris, good info and context. I always watch right to the end to make sure I don't miss anything important you put in the commentary at the end. Or than that this has to be the record for the most yawns in a video! Yes you did make me feel like yawning, too, but then I'm watching this at night so that's kind of okay. Congratulations on your anniversary, by the way, I hope you managed to salvage something despite the emergency call out. Have a good night's sleep, Chris. 🙂

I agree with you about those Penns would love to carry the KE2 temp controllers. They are super easy to program.
@throttlebottle59064 ай бұрын
never used or seen them installed anywhere, but I do wonder how they hold up to nearby and frequent lightning strikes. I have seen other digital models(retrofit and new) hold up ok, including the rectangle module type. but then again, nothing was as reliable as the old dinosaur stuff, seen contacts in herm arc welded shut and where a huge fireball occurred from a power line strike, amazingly the machine was running and frozen near solid(pressure switch was banging) lol 🤔
@treyeslinger68724 ай бұрын
They hold up the best in my opinion, in coolers I always use the Ke2 air temp+ defrost. I haven’t seen one fail yet as opposed to digitals like ranchos which fail a lot especially in freezers or penns which i keep getting bad straight from a manufacturer or supply house.

I have the same problem with confusing Memorial Day and Labor Day. The other day, when frequenting a buisness nearby, they had a trailer parked near the back, a rental freezer trailer. I'm guessing they were having freezer problems. Don't know the economics of it, but I wonder if that might be a way to offer an extra profit-generating service for you and your customers for times that the fix will take longer than the product can survive for?
@throttlebottle59064 ай бұрын
it's best to leave that to a dedicated "refrigeration rental/lease company", tons of headaches and red tape involved in transportation/delivery. just suggest they call one of them to supply such.

Have you ever found the body of someone who got locked in a walk in freezer and died? I've heard stories of it happening and am always paranoid about walking in the freezer because of it, especially late at night. Is there a way to get out of most walk in freezers if you get locked in or anything you can do to survive?
@jollygreen46394 ай бұрын
Define locked in. You talking if the door is closed and latched on the outside? Or talking if the door is closed snd latched and the door handle is also padlocked on the outside?
@JoeyB0b4 ай бұрын
@@jollygreen4639 Ya locked from outside or if it breaks somehow so it can no longer be opened
@jollygreen46394 ай бұрын
If the handle broke off, there’s a push knob on the inside of the door that is connected to a rod that will push on the innards of the latch and will allow the door to open. If it’s padlocked, hope you’re wearing a jacket.
