One thing I found interesting is how hard Negan tried so hard not to drink the brandy. In the flashback with Simon he had a bottle of alcohol next to him. It made me wonder if he was drinking a lot when he was the leader of the Saviors, kind of like how eugene was when he was with the Saviors.

The methane would be super important in this world and that is why Doma said ppl would want it, a natural resource. And she was right since that woman wanted info from the Marshall. It's fuel for warmth, for vehicles, etc and it could be harnessed with so many walkers available

So so good! Aside from the finale itself, I LOVED the scene with Maggie talking about Macy’s. It just really hit home that the world used to be normal and it broke my heart! I think we forget that everyone used to have normal lives with dreams and aspirations, and now they’re all gone. I think the reason why new Babylon is so interested in the methane is because the croat uses it as a power source and they want to find a new renewable power source that isn’t corn (if I’m remembering correctly from watching the episode)

Facts, corn takes work and time, but if they can learn to make methane, it's faster and abundant, and can used as liquid fuel. Ethanol I a poor power source without oil to mix, so it's going to be war, and negan is a key to gather troops under one leader and rally all of NY. This army will be key in the last battle, negan is now the key to beat the crm.

The Croat knew nothing about Maggie until Maggie told him. Croat wasn't even with the Saviors anymore when the Saviors crossed Ricks group. Maggie is the key. Hershel merely expanded on the story by telling what he knew. Dama learned through Hershel.

The threat to take more pieces from Hershel is the same threat that Negan made to Rick regarding Daryl at the end of the lineup which is pretty interesting. Negan knows he would have followed through with his threat back then so he knows not to call her bluff. I think Maggie made a big mistake in turning Negan over. Personally, I don't think Negan will backslide into who he was (even though Maggie can't seem to get off her high horse and see that he's changed) but if he does revert back Maggie just handed him an army that knows where she lives on the mainland and all about their crops, supplies etc. So what would stop "old" Negan from coming for revenge and taking all their supplies or just wiping out her whole community. Also the Croat learned of Maggie from Jerome. When they are first in the ambulance Croat says he convinced him to talk and he told him the story of the Widow.

You guys are right, Maggie is going to walk into Manhattan seeing Negan ruling and not knowing that there's a deal in place. Armstrong will probably be thinking the same thing that Maggie is, that Negan has gone back to old Negan. He's going to have to explain to them somehow. On top of that, when New Babylon goes to Manhattan, Armstrong's lie is going to be exposed when they see Negan is still alive. He's going to have to get away from New Babylon. Hopefully before they find out Negan's alive. Also, if you guys watched this on Thursday that means you have AMC+. I'm sure you saw that they posted the first 10 minutes of Daryl Dixon on there.

It's less than 10 miles from the lower east side to Harlem and I don't even think they're that far south. Madison Square Gardens is midtown.
