Strong start to Season 1 of Tales!! It was a really good episode! Loved the story and the flow of how it all went down. There was some slow points but they didn’t last long! Huge props to Terry Cruz and Olivia Munn for their performances! Let us know what you thought of Episode 1 of Tales!

I loved the first episode. I just watched the second episode and i hate to say it but it was very bad. It was boring and very strange. I would never turn off a Walking dead episode but episode 2 almost made me turn it off. But i am excited for the alpha episode!

I love that some episodes will connect to TWD Rick's world & others will be more fanciful. Quirky, comedic, imaginative that may not exist in this world but maybe someone's psyche.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, the goofy lightheartedness of it was so cool. Evie & Joe are some of my favorite characters in the universe just like that. & the title screen sequence, absolutely loved it!

I love how Tales is going to be very genre-bending, like this episode had heavy amounts of comedy while still keeping that same underlying sense of suspense and ofcourse danger in that psycho bunker chick. Well done, Tales, well done.

I really liked it. Eve telling homegirl she was a connoisseur took me all the way out! That was great! I appreciated the lightheartedness mixed with the dark. I was thinking that maybe Evie's husband was one of Sandra's victims.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this episode! I feel they did a good job of establishing the characters and following a storyline well in the time they had. Better than some shows do in whole seasons haha

I thought this was a good episode. The second episode I was not a huge fan of, but I think a lot of people are completely missing the point of this show. I see a lot of people complaining that it does not connect, but it is not supposed to, the point of this show is stand alone episodes. Some may connect and some will not. Love your reactions as always!

I absolutely adored this episode. I loved how they highlighted the problem of loneliness, especially when you’re stuck in a bunker. The only difference between Joe and crazy lady is that Joe had Gilligan to keep him sane. Not only did Gilligan die to protect Joe, but he/she was also the only way he stayed sane that long. :’)

Once I got over the weird feeling of laughing out loud to a TWD universe show I did enjoy this one. BUT why oh why didn’t they stay overnight, or longer, in the platinum bunker....or at the very least gather fresh supplies from it ???? 🤷🏻‍♀️ That was really weird. I keep wondering if “psycho joker bunker lady” ate those people she killed

I don’t care too much that it doesn’t connect with TWD. My only complaint was that they left that high tech bunker. They could have easily taken the crazy one out and stayed there safe and sound, for awhile at least.

Good catch on realizing she was a psycho, though. Also, she said the cabin was really close to where he was going.

I really like the episode, and especially the little throwbacks to things in the original Walking Dead like the terminus building. The railroad tracks and even at the end that bridge that they were on was the one where Dale and them encountered and captured Claudia

I loved the dark humor of this and how they made friends in the end. I think he just siphoned gas along the trip but it was a year in so idk 🤷 but still way freaking better than most fear the walking dead episodes. Js. More realistic and can't wait till the next one.

I totally thought it was her at first too!! I thought would’ve been cool too! It had twists I didn’t expect though! The series seems to be so much much different than what we’re used to seeing from TWD but I like it. Some people don’t though. I think people expected the sole purpose of this show is to have references to the main show but I think it’s good it’s different. I also really like the second episode, I loved how kooky it was. And now it makes sense why they “spoiled” someone getting bit in the trailer.

i liked the ep, but the few things that annoyed me and ig u could say its bc they are still noobs when it comes to apocalypse and surviving since its only been 1year and both joe and evie didnt go out of their bunker/cabin much. like the fast the evie and joe were dumb to leave the bike on, like why did evie call joe to check on the notebook thing ..instead of callin him over evie couldve just walked to the bike with joe already there and tell him all she found etc while they were on the bike and goig.. also why leave the crazy womens bunker? at least take food and supplies but they left with nothin. also they didnt know crazy women was gonna revive after being killed (they shouldve idk killed her just in case they go back or just in case someone else finds that bunker), evie also didnt seem upset that her husband wasnt there.. im thinkin her husband died by the hands on the crazy women since it seems like that bunker and steves cabin were kinda close by each other. yeh the fact that when they were on the bike the night before it got stolen joe says it will take 12h or less to get to where they have to go and then when bike gets stolen they seem to have gotten to the places they needed to go fast and without problems.. it wouldve taken em days on foot and they wouldve probably found trouble along the way. yeh it sucks we dont see more of their story . i hope they appear again i would like to see em again. and yeah same thought crm is in ohio i think.

I think, the webisodes for FEAR had a greater connection (to their show) than those of TWD. Other than the first (TORN APART) about the origin of "Bicycle Girl", the others had small connections. While, those for FEAR explained the downing of the plane (FLIGHT 462) Nick saw, the group scavenged and met two of the survivers. Then, there was THE ALTHEA TAPES (no explanation required) and DEAD IN THE WATER which was about the submarines story.

With what they've been through he still hasn't known her that long he could still be lying about his name.

Yeah it felt like they were going for a Groundhog Day or Palm Springs kinda vibe with the whole time loop thing. I actually thought it was kinda fun and definitely different from what we've seen even if the time loop thing doesn't really fit with the universe. Felt like they were just trying something out

Tale - [tāl] NOUN a fictitious or true narrative or story, especially one that is imaginatively recounted. The whole point of "tales of the Walking dead is, it's not suppose to always connect to the universe we know. Like in the style of The Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt.

@@ivanrasmussen8875 It was & it wasn't. It was a reoccurring loop like Ground hogs day in style but not in a magical sort of way. It was the two or one of the women's psychosis. They try to explain it in the end. One or both had a psychotic break from reality trying to deal with the reality of zombies & this is how their mind is dealing with it. The episode isn't real, except in one or both of their minds. Likely just one, the secretary's mind.

Yeah. Not a wasted opportunity. It would have been too too obvious. I thought the same thing too for about a minute, but it was clear the chat was not between them. With due respect, it would have been a dissapiontment had it gone that way. Anyway, a good episode and more engaging than what I've seen from TWD lately. I've watched 2 episodes of Tales and as much as I love Olivia, I think I like episode two more. More excited about Black Summer. I think there's another season and big time anticipating that. Sleeping in the woods with a fire, 2 nights in a row, in the walking dead universe. Then zombies come and I keep muttering, "this is all your fault." Otherwise I found it overall to be a great show. The acting and chemistry was fantastic. Both protagonists were flawed, but interesting.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I too was disappointed when I realized they weren't looking for each other, but psycho lady made up for that disappointment. A little cheesy at times (that cartwheel kick for ex) but I want to see more of their story!
