A lot of these deleted scenes sound like vast improvements to what the end product was. Yeah, quite a few are game-changing, but in a game where the choices you make are supposed to matter, altering the story completely because you chose to accept another person in the group or not is a good thing. As opposed to Telltale's preferred method of "oh, you wanted to do _this_ thing? Well, guess what! We're going to immediately set up a scenario that will force you to do the opposite! Isn't that great?" or "Oh, you wanted to save that person? Well, there, now they'll die in about one or two scenes and have no real impact on how the story unfolds and you don't get a say in it. ...Choice matters, BTW."

Doug's quest sounds superfluous, like the multi-path motel mission. Danny's not the smartest cannibal in the clan though. The Stranger was actually better than Lily. Her out for revenge wouldn't make sense if you spared her and told her you'd leave with her and Clementine. Plus, the Stranger answers "what happens to the nobodies who may have been screwed by your choices?"

Kenny knew what to do and always seemed to have the best advice IMO to survive. I would have liked to see Lee survive and have him, Clementine, and Kenny. 3:40 so basically, what im getting from this is, If you choose to leave Ben and the teacher, then its the teacher instead of Mark being dinner (obviously lol) but that doesnt mean that Ben is completely written out of the story in this scenario like you said, he could easily show up again, like, the guy was in a trap, how could he have survived for very long without Ben there to further assist him? we honestly dont have enough info to know whether or not Ben is completely written out based on this choice, we may just meet him again later so, maybe, if the teacher is dinner instead of Mark, Ben would be introduced *again* at the St. John dairy somehow, like, Ben isnt in the St. John scenario, like, at all, so introducing him again at some point shouldnt be that difficult, if i were to do it, i would just have it so when they show up at the dairy, Bens there, and he says that when they got separated, he was able to get him and the teacher out of there, and the St. Johns found them and took them in (they had made the bear traps, so it wouldnt be hard to believe they were in the area checking the traps) the teacher is put upstairs in the same room as Mark, and basically the story plays out the same way but honestly, i prefer the scene where Ben reveals how its not the bite that kills you, but its interesting to think how the story couldve gone another possibility is that if Mark doesnt get eaten, then MARK plays Ben's role for the rest of the season, Mark doesnt die at the dairy, so where would his story go? maybe if Ben isnt around, then Mark fets jumped by the bandirs and forced into giving them supplies! that could be interesting! honestly we prolly wont ever know, but either of my explanatuons could fit, eirher introduce Ben later or give his plots to Mark in the scenario where Mark lives past the dairy, hmmmmm

Also the tape with '83 ab' written on it is in Carver's office at the end of s2 ep3, so maybe he was connected to Crawford? They did have similar ideas about the world, and treated people as prisoners, and maybe Carver was in Savannah after the events of s1. We may never know, but it's little things like this that should be explained in s3 when it finally arrives next year.
