I love this episode. We had to wait 6 months or so for this because of the CGI and Covid stopping everything, so post-production was delayed. The extra 6 are also covid related--small cast bottle episodes, but they definitely add.

No, she wasn't gone immediately after Rick's incident on the bridge, in show time. She left at some point during the six year time jump. We see that Maggie was still at Hilltop when Jesus and Tara give Ezekiel the Intercommunity charter in season 9b. That was well after Michonne stopped communicating with the other settlements, since Tara said that Maggie wasnt a fan of Michonne at the moment. She doesn't leave until a few years in, as said by Carol in 10x18. So she could have just been gone for 2 or 3 years.

Episodes made in a time where filming anything was literally risking life and death, and they did that for the fans, and the fans can't even be even remotely grateful for it. If any lesser people had made those episodes and saw all the reactions to it, I wouldn't have even blamed them if there hadn't been a season 11 at all.

This episode is amazing! You're lucky you didn't hear the way I yelled "MAGGIE!!!!!" on my first and second watches of this episode! The way she came and rescued Father Gabe (who's SO badass) was awesome. Going through the walkers was so tense... rest in pieces, Beatrice. Beta's death was INSANE as well. I loved the way Negan and Daryl teamed up to kill him. Carol and Lydia was super sweet! The whole ending of the episode was sweet, just all the reunions and everyone hugging it out and talking, I love these characters so much. (edit) HOW could I forget CONNIE'S RETURN?!?! AND the rest of our group getting surrounded by these weird armoured people! I'm excited for you guys to see the next season. Can't wait for the next one!

Great reactions Rob And Trin this was a Masterpiece I absolutely loved Lydia’s story and her and Carol’s scenes and loved that Negan went out there to help (even though he didn’t kill Beta himself he did distract him enough for Daryl to kill him) also really thought that Gabriel was done for but Maggie and the mystery badass saved him the shot when Lydia threw Alpha’s mask and it was falling with the Walkers was literal perfection.

I love this episode and that great finale of Beta's death and the horde going off the cliff. A great ending to the Whisperers story. Also, our group never needs to fear a horde again because Lidia can teach them how to lead them away (or off a cliff). Of course, because my brain works this way, I can't help but imagine some unknown survivor fishing at the base of that cliff when suddenly thousands of walkers rain down. That'll put your pan fish down for a while.

Uau guys we are here.. obv we have this 6 bottle episodes we needed them to keep the spark about the walking dead alive.. but people who havent watched the show episode to episode.. and had to wait.. its hard to explain.. s10 ep15 ends.. s10ep16 is half a year later and s11ep01 is 1 year latter after ep16 prob year and a half later.. so in a way this episode now was from the whisperers arc .. but this is the start of the end, the last scene with eugene.. we made it guys .. it was over a year when rob and trin started watching twd.. and for anyone who has stuck trough i hope u dont regret going trough TWD

It ended a long lasting war between the whisperers, we got Connie and Maggie back, thousands of walkers were killed and the bond between Carol and Lydia grew better at the end and the introduction of the storm trooper group. Easily a 9.5/10 episode and love the reactions

Emotional episode huh guys ??. How happy are you to have Maggie back ??. Lauren Cohan originally left the show because of contract and money issues but they managed to solve it. And i can say now she is back as a main character for season 11 ;). !! Now, you will get 6 aditional episodes on top of the original 16 which sounds weird BUT let me explain: Around the time they finished episode 15 the covid epidemic got started so EVERYTHING had to shut down. Not just the original show but also Fear The Walking Dead, which was buzy filming it's 6th season. After lockdowns got softened and eventually ended they had to go all the way back into production, but because of the epidemic and a much more extended production period, they wanted to give us extra episodes to tie us over until we could finally get season 11. So the next 6 episodes are named by the fans as the COVID EPISODES. And you will notice because of certain scenes. They had soooo many rules to uphold, social distancing being one of them.

I love this episode, It's quality! the acting, the music, And Betas Final Doom. The actor who plays Beta is Ryan Hurst, He's been alot of movies and shows, One of them is Sons of Anarchy. People complained how short the "fight" was But if you look around there are thousands of walkers. It wouldn't make sense. This way was better, You can't kill him 1v1. But you can if you distract him. The show has improved alot, From Season 1 to 10,

Having to wait several months for this finale due to covid was painful. As a way to make up, they filmed an extra 6 episodes for this season. I know you have probably watched close to, if not all them, at the time of this upload, so I won't go into how most of them (except one, maybe two) are entirely inconsequential to the larger story and really not worth your time. This is also the last episode in the show to be filmed on 16mm film, from here on out, they use digital cameras. Personally, I think it's worse off for it, but that's really just preference. Great season overall.

Let them make up their own minds about that, please. Which they did, and although even 21 Rob said he might not watch it again on a rewatch, he was GLAD that he had watched it. Becasue all of them add something, have some character progression and everything. And yes, they added them for the fans, to give them something extra, and instead, all the fans just trash talk them for it. With risk of their literal lives, they filmed these extra episodes, and all the fans are just extremely ungrateful for it.

@@HIPsteHeero I apologise if I came across as trying to force my own opinion upon them, I had a feeling they would enjoy even those episodes to a certain degree, I was simply stating an opinion. And while we appreciate the fact that they filmed those episodes for us, that doesn't mean we can't be critical of them, especially when they were (mostly) unimportant. The Daryl and Carol episode was literally just them being sulky for an episode. That wasn't character progression, that was stagnation. We are allowed to be critical of those episodes because they (once again, mostly) weren't great, especially by TWD standards.
