I'm really glad about the clarity. High resolution and clarity is way more important to VR than a lot of people think. When you don't see constant aliasing and flickering it helps you to get immersed

Have you being playing anything in VR at the moment? If you don't get motion sick that is awesome you can jump into any game and be off! If you do get sick and S&S is your 1st VR Game, take your time during tutorial area, get used to feel of game and VR. Build yourself up before jumping straight in. Luckily S&S, well Chapter 1 was basically pick an area drop in, explore loot and get out. So, if you do feel motion sickness, you could chip away at the game, as you build up towards longer sessions. Brilliant video. I've got a reverb G2 and although the psvr2 isnt quite as sharp it's a much better headset overall. The colours and contrast are much better. The blacks are so dark, but on the G2 the black levels are more like a dark grey. On psvr2 it's really black. The colours really pop on psvr2. The adaptive triggers on psvr2 and the haptics are simply amazing as well. I've been nothing but impressed by it. In future if a game is released on psvr2 and pcvr I will go for psvr2 version as first choice mainly for the amazing haptics and adaptive triggers, they really are a game changer. Well done Sony. Hopefully they can help revive vr gaming for all platforms as it has become very stale recently.

PSVR 2 is the real deal. I prefer this headset over my Valve Index and that says a lot from my perspective.

Nice review but it would be appropriate to mention what this game is all about and what are its mechanics, for players who have not played the first part. How long is the game? I played the first part about an hour on PSVR1 so I will go through the first remastered part first.

I gotta play Chapter 1 first. Can't wait. I hard quit the game on PSVR1 due to Move Controllers and the PSVR 1 headset hurt my head, so I didn't like using it much.

Same except the headset never hurt my head. I just couldn't stand those Move controls, everything felt cumbersome. It really wasn't the developers fault, it was the limitations of those terrible controllers. I don't miss them, especially with the PS VR 2.

I love the Sense controllers, especially the adaptive triggers. I find myself missing them when I play my Quest 2. The feel is just so much better with them and going back without them the feeling isn't nearly as good.

One thing that scares me about new Firewall game is that it seems all the best parts of Pavlov of handling weapons, items and reloading seems are not gona be a focus on that game. Amazing review with focus on the new and improved gameplay interactions. When is Chapter 1 getting available for PSVR2? I had bought and played the original on OG PSVR, but even though I liked what game was doing, I didn't like playing with Dual Move controllers. I love the VR2 Sense controllers and want to play the two Saints & Sinners games in correct order on the PSVR2.

The first game is being remastered and comes out the 21st. It’s a great game, and might teach you some of the basics, but the story in itself is nothing special. It’s more of just a tool to help you progress through the game.

So far all we have had is a trailer showing some differences. I would assume what you see with Chapter 2 is what you will get with Chapter 1. Apart from the added upgraded table and the new 4 locations, chainsaw and night mode. So, terms of graphics and animation etc etc Likely same as Chapter 2. :) I sure all your favourite VR KZbinrs will have information on Chapter 1 when it releases alongside Chapter 2.

I just couldn't get into it on the PS VR 1. I hated the controls, they felt cumbersome. It was just the limitations of the Move controllers more than anything. I have a Quest ( no PC) but didn't want to pay twice for the same game and the Quest version has it's own issues. I'm just glad I can play the first now with better clarity than on the Quest 2 and without the compromise of the Move controllers. I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Yeah I played it first on quest 2 and it was pretty bad. They had to sacrifice everything to make it run on there. This is like a completely different game. Hope you enjoy!

Ended up doing a deep dive: bought a rig, wheel (G29) and VR1. Later, a direct drive wheel (Fanatec DD Pto), and VR2. I guarantee u will buy a DD wheel eventually, lol. I play ACC as well, but damn, ur review of this zombie title had me go and purchase it! EDIT: Oh, yeah, played a little DR, too. Rally in GT7 in VR is pretty good fun, too.

Great Review, i have played both a few Weeks ago and it was „my“ entry in PSVR2. Sure, I got my Headset at Launch. But i really dont like RE Games, Moss is not my Kind of Game and Horizon was boring . So i had „only“ 4:44 Star Wars and a bit GT7 for the first Weeks. I had Motion Sickness , was overhyped and a bit disappointed as a VR Newbie about small Sweetspot and Mura etc. So it wasnt a good Start for me. But all changed with S&S Release. I was finally able to fully enjoy VR and just play it in deep Immersion….so much Fun, the Game looks so good and clear, awesome 🙏 After S&S came Red Matter2 👍 Well, the Sony Showcase was a bit disappointing but we know a lot good Games are coming soon

tip: just do VO. no offence but its not engaging to watch you standing there talking at me. you should just record your audio over ur gameplay instead of cutting between the two. you decribe something then cut to it but i noticed you dont do it for everything ur describing. its a waste of time. if you wanna talk about a feature its also best to show it. i get you wanna be the focus of ur channel but i came to see the game. it just feels awkward to see you standing these wit ur backround. ur not well lit. the greenscreen effect is really strong. just saying. plus you can benefit two ways. make the vids shorter to drive up engagement. or make them longer with more to say in ur monolog with more footage to show. think it over. good luck!

New game that’s tied to the old one. Your save transfers over and you can keep your unlocks and still go to old locations. You can start from chapter 2 from scratch as well.

Sadly Chapter 2 only adds 4 New Loactions but places from Chapter 1 from what I gathered from Quest 2 Reviews are expanded and look difference due to on going war between factions. I would personally play both games! Your save from Chapter 1 can be used in Chapter 2 which means any upgrades etc from Chapter 1 carry over, so by time you start Chapter 2 your character and you as a player will be more bad ass and prepared for what is next! Plus you'll know the world better and story.

I’m actually well sad 😂. I was doing so much research into wether or not to buy the PSVR 2 as I haven’t tried VR gaming yet but I have a ps5. I had been watching the walking dead PSVR videos online for weeks and I was so excited to finally buy one today (as well as the £50.00 chapter 1 and 2 bundle). But after like 20 minutes of starting chapter one I think I’m going to have to return my headset. There’s this awful grainy filter that covers my entire screen at all times. The fact chapter one opens up at night on a boat all I can see in my screen is this horrible filter/grain effect. I’ve obviously done my research and I know exactly what this is and it’s so annoying because I honestly had much better hopes for the visuals on this device

It’s no so much specific bands as much as it is certain songs and albums. I like a lot of rock music too. But a couple examples would be Mastodon (Leviathon and Blood Mountain), Opeth ( Masters Apprentice), Baroness, Angelcrypt, Machine Head (the blackening). My current favorite band is actually a rock/synth band called Volkor x though, amazing.

Welcome to high-end PCVR gentlemen. I love my PSVR 2. As good if not better then my Valve Index. The hapics alone is very well worth it. The deep blacks really add to the immersion. Just wait for half-life Alyx. You guys will lose your minds

@@SC0RPI0NFURY PS don't be such a Fan Boy. Even though this is my first Sony anything. I am a big PCVR fan. And still am. But this headset is very comaritable to what I am used to. Hopefully we can get some good PCVR titles on this headset now that the controllers are soo good. Half-life alyx, virtigo 1 and 2, Onward, Eleven Table Top, are just a few really great titles that should be ported. Also looking forward to what Sony comes out with as well. In other word I have a vested interest that this headset does well. And content is what we need.

​@@paulbellino5330 ​​I'm not a fanboy, are you? I'm a fan of video games and been a fan of gaming for a long time. I go where the highest quality / high end games are, both flatscreen games and VR games, and if those games were on PC, i would choose playing on PC a long time ago. Sony has overall the highest quality games and VR games, this has always been the case since Sony launched the PS1 in 1994-95 and launched the PS VR back in 2016 even despite some controller and tracking issues on the move controllers which wasn't that big of a deal for me personally. I also knew the PS VR was more of a testing phase for Sony leading up to the PS VR2. Btw, the PS VR2 already has 3 triple A vr titles in the same budget range as Half Life: Alyx, two of them probably costs way more. Sony also are way ahead of anyone else when it comes to the sense tech, adaptive triggers, haptics and the 3D audio, the whole PS5 is seemlessly built for VR in mind. Congrats with your new PlayStation / VR and Welcome to the family son 🙂 You are in for treat, the quality of the games you will see here is higher than what you are used to on PC

Does any1 know if it’s 100% true that saints and sinners gets a free upgrade to psvr2 if you own tourist edition in the U.K.? I don’t want to pay £7.99 and then have to pay another fee.

Theres no free Upgrade, you have to buy the Upgrade . I dont think theres a special extra for UK ;)

@@valiantthor5238 well, apparently there is free upgrade IF you buy tourist edition. I’m just unsure if it’s true. You either buy tourist edition and upgrade is free or you straight up just pay for the upgrade. But like I say, I’m not 100 if it’s true. For instance. If I buy tourist edition, I’ll deff have the items that come with it but if I just buy the upgrade, I’m unsure, if it’s the case. If I was 100 sure that buying tourist edition, gives me free upgrade, I’d just do that .

You’re supposed to get saints & sinners as a free upgrade if you have the tourist edition. I don’t know if it’s midnight or later in the day though.
