LFs death scene is so painfully stupid. He would've already known enough about Arya's personality from back in season 1 when Ned hired a swordsman to teach her... (LF and Varys knew everything that went on back then...) and from all the time he was leading the effort to find her after she fled... They just made everyone so stupid this season. I wish Arya and Sansa had just taken each other out and spared us this scooby doo trial.

Power-hungry people sometime have a hard time imagining someone not wanting the same. so I think it's a rather fittig end for LF.

My favorite part is how Bran, despite "knowing everything" (like the chaos is a ladder quote), perfectly waited until the sisters had built up just enough "dramatic tension" before giving them a full plot dump completely offscreen. Then its all just magically resolved. The s7 winterfell plotline has to be the weakest example of political intrigue in the entire show. Dorne was better... Its so stupid that ppl make up theories about how Arya & Sansa were play acting the whole time (despite most of their scenes being around no one other than them 2).

It ended exactly how Theon was hoping. Forgiven and given the ok to go get his sister. He even says “you always know what to do” asking Jon what he should do and Jon says “go get her man” nothing bad. Really good.

I don’t necessarily think Theon won *because* he was castrated. I bet that still hurt but it’s symbolic of the fact that after Ramsay there’s almost nothing you can do to hurt him. Not really. I think Theon smiled somewhat because someone trying to knee him in the balls seems childish compared to what he’s been through.

Fun fact, the actress that played Cersei and the actor who played Bronn used to date in real life. Things ended badly and they pretty much despise each other. They had a clause in their contracts for the later seasons of the show that they wouldn’t have scenes together. That’s probably why Pod and Bronn “peaced out” right at the beginning of the dragon pit scene.

they needed him out immediately because they wanted the show to be done within a few more episodes. when a character is a long-game player, that does not work, they cant do anything with him in that time. they would not have any storylines to give him that could fit into six episodes, five if you leave out a certain one, so its better to just kill him off.

I think the truth about Jon’s parentage played a big part in why Ned fought so hard to stop Robert from killing Danearys. He couldn’t stand the thought of it. He loved Jon like a son and knew he was the true Targaryen heir. He kept the secret for the rest of his life even when it put a strain on his marriage. He knew Robert would have killed Jon for sure, especially since he was not only the heir but the child of Rhaegar (his most hated adversary)and Lyanna (his only love). Ned couldn’t even risk telling Cat or Jon himself the truth. Pretty amazing guy.

Originally, there were 2 deleted scenes that would have changed everything, Cersei had a miscarriage after Jaime left and Sansa was to go to Bran to find out if Arya really was a threat to her, but the creators said they realized that Sansa was supposed to be smarter than that by now, so they took it out

InDeepGeek channel has excellent videos including guided tours of Westeros and Essos. Season 7 was released 2017. Season 8 released in 2019 so it was two years to wait.
