@@aquaticfanaticsuk Thank you Keith, I truly believe the more people that get into dirted tanks no matter the style the better. I truly believe it’s the way our hobby is heading. Sort of stepping back into time when things were easier except there is a plethora of knowledge out there for hobbyists to understand and make them thrive.

@pattys_aquatics I totally agree. I'm very much about promoting dirted tanks. I think we should be exploring different soils, substrates, plants, and scapes. And trying different things from different methods. I think Diana's book is a foundation that should be built on.

anyone else have problems with tanks leaking bcs of dirt + sand combo? Or are my tanks just badly made and I have no luck in walstad? I really want to try this :(

I've had a few old tanks leak over the years. Never had a problem with walstad, though, to be honest, bud
