Judy, I too had the opportunity to dabble in acting at a young age. "Yes, you may have some straw" said the man to pig #1 in a first grade production of The Three Little Pigs. Well, that's about it. Didn't garner a spot in the IMDB, SAG membership wasn't required. Where I'm approximately 3 years your minor, it was a long time ago. I did not appreciate the craft until later in life. Happy Birthday, Judy. Like many of our generation, I came in and out of my teens watching The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie. My mom knew The Waltons was a great show to watch. I think my folks enjoyed it as well. I was a tomboy like you, and dreamed of being a writer like John Boy, but not nearly so talented as either of you. I lived on a farm, and often brought some of our dairy cows in to milk riding our Tennesse Walking Horse. When I wasn't doing chores, I was roaming by horse, minibike, or foot our large farm, but getting home in time to see you on TV. As a former teacher, I would love for every child in the world between the ages of about 6 and 16 to have to put up all the video devices, cell phones, computers of any kind...yes, I know they can be great, but developing minds and hearts need to see others their ages working and playing hard in a cohesive family unit...put them up and unplug from what has become a pretty filthy world at times. The grown-ups act like children. I would want them to watch every series through at least twice. Well, with absolutely no conclusion, I realize I'm writing a book and hijacking your page, so I will say thank you a thousand times over with best wishes for a wonderful birthday!
