Internet didn't exist in the 1960's let alone home computers internet first came by 1993 or 1994 it was one of those years and was still very much in it's infancy. The reason why Dodo got no goodbye scene was because her actress Jackie Lane's contract expired by part 2 of this story and new producer Innes Lloyd wanted a fresh start with the show. Unfortunately for the next season your going to be disappointed as it has the highest affected season of missing episodes not a single story exists in full and 4 stories of 7 that sadly don't exist in it's entirety however there is official animation for all of them except "The Smugglers" and "The Highlanders" that have not been animated.
