I think a lot of people won't like this episode. But I really did.

The next episode is the Moffat Christmas special, then the next season next Spring, then the 2025 Christmas special. That's as far as we know so far. Though RTD made a comment about doing 4 seasons in total like last time. So, perhaps we'll have this structure of 6 months between new eps till 2027's Christmas special. We'll see ^__^

This episode was disappointing Sutekh was wasted and was made into a joke RTD should stop touching on old classic characters if he cant do them properly don't use them i was hoping Ruby's mother would turn out to be an alien since they had this massive build up and it would turn out Ruby is the first well second if you count Nardole to be the first NuWho alien humanoid companion but no her mother was just a regular person RTD is good at soap but he is not good at science fiction the ending was just plain and boring been through this before it's starting to get abit predictable.

This may be my least favorite episode in all Stargate SG-1, or at least maybe a tie for last.

Silco wasn't going to turn her over to Piltover, that's the point of the scene with Vander's statue. This is literally his life's work, this man worked and fought most of his life trying to gain independence for the Undercity/Zaun. Silco didn't use good methods to achieve it (that's another discussion of their environment, his trauma/upbringing and how jaded his mindset was as he got older) but his wrongs don't diminish the fact that he was still so close to getting it. So it's reasonable for everyone to assume he wouldn't give up his dream for one person but that's where our assumptions are wrong. "Is there anything so undoing as a daughter?" He's highlighting the fact that Jinx is his undoing, or his weakness as Mel's mom would phrase it. This is also him relating to Vander's situation with Vi because he finally understands what it feels like to have a daughter of his own and he's not willing to sacrifice her in exchange for Zaun. Silco always loved her. It definitely wasn't a healthy love, toxic and codependent, but he genuinely cared for her the only way he knew how (given his own issues of abandonment among other things). Just two flawed individuals who found shelter, love, and family in each other. It wasn't perfect but it was enough. sidenote: and for anyone who wants to challenge my viewpoint, please don't use the argument of 'he should've taken himself and Jinx to therapy' because you're holding these characters to our standards of society rather than the world they're operating in. Even if therapy exists in their universe, I'm fairly certain it's only in Piltover and I doubt either of them would go Topside willingly 💀 (and please don't actually argue/attack me with name calling or malicious comments. We all viewed the show differently and you can tell me your opinion without adding unnecessary hate. Like c'mon guys, it's just a show 😭)
