Would you make another video going into detail about all the kings and cities ? I understand where Elam is, but I would be interested in learning more about the other areas and any archaeological evidence for this war. I believe it would authenticate the BIBLE , and help winning souls with these facts.

I almost wanted to skim over Genesis 14:1-11 because I was truly confused with all these names of kings. Thank you for explaining this! It really helped understand the events that took place.

It took forever for me to know the name of those kings, so I am glad you did not go overboard on them. Enjoyed this explanation of the war.

I think you did a wonderful job at summarizing the chapter. The approach taken makes you look at the greatest of Abraham. What was significant to me was the oaks of mamre, and know we are told that mamre was named after an Amorite. Abraham always worshipped at these oaks, so could it be that these canaanites are now joining Abraham in worship in contrast to those others in the valley fighting? Because he choose to worship God Abraham was spared the violence of war that Lot experience. Now Yahweh set Abraham as the deliverer. 318 men is nothing against those 4 kings…thus the victory was a miracle and not dependent on Abraham size or wealth. Anyway just offering some different insights but wonderful job.

So I have a question… would the 318 of Abram’s trained men include Eshcol and Aners men? I think it would be Abram’s 318 plus more!! Thank you for this great explanation!

Yes the are giant clans they are the nephilim and they are trying to prevent Gods plan of redemption by messing up the DNA to keep the messiah from being born.

It was a Christophany it is two Hebrew words. Righteous King
@dondgc22989 ай бұрын
So if someone is called a righteous king it means they are Jesus? And you think Jesus was incarnated twice? Once to rule Salem as king and then again 2,000 years later to die on the cross?
@TexasBuckeye19539 ай бұрын
@@dondgc2298 No Jesus has always been and as God, he could reveal himself any time he wanted to as a pre-incarnate messiah.
@dondgc22989 ай бұрын
@@TexasBuckeye1953 He didn’t “reveal himself” - this person was the literal king of an actual earthly kingdom. So if you are claiming the Melchizedek is Jesus, then you are claiming that Jesus came to earth in 2000 BC, lived in Salem, ruled as a king, and went into battle against his neighbors. If you are saying he was a “type” of Christ I’m with you. But this was not Christ himself. And sorry if I was snarky. Not the proper way to approach other Christians!
@TexasBuckeye19539 ай бұрын
@@dondgc2298 Pre-incarnate Christ appeared many times in the Old Testament. Romans 3 states there are none righteous no not one so this can not be a person. But it can be Jesus before the Virgin birth.
