Empyreal ward is not going to make you immune to healing reduction effects for 30 seconds, its just the lay on hands that won't be reduced, maybe thats what you meant but you worded it like you wouldn't be mortal striked for 30 sec, just the armor lasts for 30s : )

yeah i didnt test them did the video before it was up in ptr, but still nice to have the heal for pvp probably goes through dampening and in pve that 100% armor is huge for tanks

@@LightbladeGaming oh yeah for sure its a huge external and that along with having regular Sac makes for pallies to be even more useful utility wise in the more difficult raiding situations, reminds me of the classic days when you brought extra pallies just for their Sac and their Divine Sacrifice in Wrath

Empyreal ward is worse than what paladins used to have... which was called, "Improved Lay on Hands" - Gives the target of your Lay on Hands spell a 15% bonus to their armor value from items for 2 min. In addition, the cooldown for your Lay on Hands spell is reduced by 10 min. blizzard just rehashing old (20 year old) talents and renaming then while making them worse.... classic. really brings out the anniversary spirit in them

Paladin Fixed a bug that caused Hammer of Light to not go away as expected.

@@BelfackeR tech it wasn't a bug, it was working as intended. As per qhat the tool tip says. Changes wake of Ashes to hol for 12 seconds

@@JohnThompson-mt9nt for 1 charge yes. When the game came out, 1. Use wake of ashes 2. Wake of ashes switches to hammer of light 3. Use hammer of light x1 time 4. Cd for wake of ashes now shows and counting. 5. That other random talent reaches 40 or is it 50 stacks giving you a free hammer of lights. Repeat 1-5. Yesterday I could 1. Use wake of ashes 2. Wake of ashes switched to hammer of light. 3. Spam hammer of light x3 - x4 times. So that’s not a bug?

@@icswack6015 I'm not so sure about that :) In my head, the ideal composition for fort+tyra will be: Tank + healer + 1 aoe prio DPS + 2 ST prio DPS. But I could be wrong (or even superwrong). We will see

​@@brano_simasek It really depends on the key scaling tbh, the higher the key the lower the pack size obviously, I'd say something like 1 AoE prio + 1 constant dps + 1 ST prio will work better at average key levels where packs are bigger

Lightbarer will probably be good for tanks, especially in M+. But as a DK those armor boosts sound real nice when pulling before Boneshield comes online.

there has been an undocumented hotfix to templar/ret pally. hammer of light now stays for 12 sec usable after using wake, before the fix you could only use it once in that 12 sec window. i think after the fix, it now works as intended and you can get lucky with divine purpose or in aoe just useing divine toll after the big hammer to use it right away, and after that you spend at least 10hp in a short time, which means a good chance to procc wings :) a fix st "buff"

They should leave it as it is now, it fixes Ret's ST issues without needing further buffs, and feels better using Light's Hammer more. But I'm 99% sure its being considered a bug and is going to get patched soon - so we're going to need a solid ST buff, like genuinely something close to 25-30% on Final Verdict

@@markuslc1888 yeah I agree, it’s super ambiguous on the intended interaction. Just did a heroic with it and honestly I hope it stays as it felt good to try and fit the hard hitting five HP spender into those windows and helped with ST a lot without over doing it overall damage wise.

@@markuslc1888 Touch of light doesnt even count its a useless talent but the soc yeah we gonna lose a little dmg there,but it gets countered by the fact that we can use both divine purpose and vengeful wrath together.
