Recently found your channel and I really can relate to what you are saying about playing objectives. I'm not skilled when it comes to pvp mechanics but I have always enjoyed battlegrounds because I understand strategy and objectives. Nice to find someone focusing on this.

Yeah, just understanding strategy and objectives can take you pretty far in BGs. Of course, there will come a point and different situations where mechanical skills will come into play but having that base foundation of understanding the BG is more important, IMO.

SO, Where exactly the flag gonna drop when EFC is dead? Right on the top of the body?

Ah, I meant to mention that in the vid but forgot. It is just best guess really. I typically try to go for an area that is above the body slightly in the direction they were facing/moving but latency can screw with that, so there is a matter of guesswork there for sure.

Just an idea as a new rogue just gearing fresh, is it a good idea if an etc is near dead to smoke bomb? Does this stop them from clicking the flag and returning it?

@@davidbell4768 I don't think the smoke bomb stops interacting with the flag, even if it does they would have to be standing pretty close to flag to return it anyway. However, smoke bombing someone low health with the flag is a very good move since it could prevent the enemy FC from getting healed or prevent yourself from taking damage or getting CCd by people who are at range.

What would an interact with object macro look like?

Hey, I haven't done it myself but I believe there is a keybind for interact with mouseover under targeting in the base UI. Then you can use a mouse macro to assign that keybind to your mousewheel. But, as I said this is not something I have actually done myself since I use mousewheel for some core class abilities. So, I would need to test to confirm.
