I remember getting the phone call before Pete passed, a friends brother told him and he told me and this was before official news hit. Such a shit day to see it wasn't a rumor. We lost a great musician and I love his average guy attitude and he was so down to earth.

I was a little surprised that the interviewer mention the song 'Blood and Fire' on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. I always felt that song was a little better than the original one on TON Bloody Kisses album. Just saying. cheers.

In the book soul on fire , Pete is quoted saying that part of the influence for the song Christian Woman , is based from the story of a Christian woman he dated that liked him to dress up like a priest or Christ during lovemaking , and she is a woman

i also remember the day he died. .like it was yesterday. i was driving and a friend called me. i had to pull over and i was shell shocked. i couldn't go on and went home for the day, saddened, numbed and really changed.
