I used to be a very fast reader, but now have glaucoma so don't read as much. I do find the narration a bit slow, so have set speed on 1.25 and think that might be the problem for a lot of the 'disike' commenters. This is for all the channels, not just this one, but problem fix is easy except some people are not aware that they can do this! Good book, looking forward to more in this series.

Haha 🤣 I FULLY agree with you. I don't think people realise that they're slowed down. I always play them all on 2X, I couldn't do 1.25 😂 But it does seem to cause a lot of the negative comments.

You made me laugh. I start at normal, then if bored or there is a part about a story,I e I don’t care about, I move to 1.25, then move by increments. By the time I am at the end of the book ( and usually figured out what will happen) , I have it in 2x.

There’s usually a way to slow down or speed up the dialog in the settings of whatever app you’re using.

Love the story, narration is lacking. A woman can't do a male voice well. Would be better with different female and add a male for the male roles.😢

I think the reader for Laurann Dohners' New Species series does a decent job doing a males voice. I do agree with you, though. It's pretty rare.

LOVED the Laurann Dohner series. Wish it wasn’t off KZbin now,. I went to allfreevovels and to epub to find the FREE written versions of the new species books I had missed.
