The dedication and commitment to learning from someone so young is inspiring. This teacher taught her the right way but also, it's obvious she was an awesome student.

Pablo was also their music theory teacher, all 3 of the girls. He gave them the tools to become the musical composers they now are. He was the jumpstart that sparked TW.

By their own admission, Dany says it every time she is asked about learning, all three girls were very stubborn, and perfectionists, and they would often stick with it, not wanting to quit for the day until they got some little thing they were working on.

In my humble opinion, Alejandra is the most gifted muscian of the three sisters. In an interview by a prominent you tuber Dany and Pau refered to Ale as a human metronome, and that when the "click" track failed they could count on Ale to stay in time.

I commented previously on another's post of this video that, given the simpler genre and style of The Warning's music, many don't realize that Ale is actually much more knowledgeable about and capable of playing very complex musical structures. As is evident here, her training was basically mostly rooted in Jazz . . . with Fusion and Funk elements incorporated for good measure. Pretty recently, in an interview, she cited the late, great Jazz legend, Jaco Pastorius as one of her favorites and biggest inspirations, because of his sound and impeccably-clean technique. Ale is a much better bassist than she gets credit for. PERIOD.🤘

Well, whether she gets credit or not...at 19 years of age....already one of the best Bass players on the planet...MHO!!

Compared to MISA, KOGA, HARAGUCHI-SAN, FAMI, SERINA, KANADE and other japanese female bassists, she is nothing,, just a fckng garbage,, 😂😂😂,, those japanese female bass player can play her bass lines using their toes while ale will be crying for her momma trying to learn any bass lines from those japanese bassists..LOL..

wow so thats some of the 3 years it took to go from start to playing on stage, awesome, she had to be one bizzy b to be throwing that bass around like she did at tedx17, dakota and lunarios where she totally broke that bass in good, now she lurks and prowls the stage like a real life bass goddess moving with the music, Great share rock candy, thanks!

If Ale used her slapping technique more in The Warning songs, it would be fantastic.
@gregoryvlchek2692 ай бұрын
@@Jason_Gomez, it doesn't seem like she wanted to keep pursuing the mastery of the technique, otherwise I think we would've seen it through the years following these sessions with Pablo. It strikes me as strange that she wouldn't, because one of the bassists she admires most is Brenda Martin of Eruca Sativa who slaps quite a bit. And more recently, she's spoken very highly of Misa of Band Maid who does as well. I'm disappointed because, I think that using slapping and popping in a Funk-influenced song like "MORE" would've been perfect.

Would be cool but more a Band Maid "Misa" thing ....
