The Warning - 'Breathe' Live at Pepsi Center CDMX: My Honest Reaction!

"Breathe" was a bonus track on their third album, "ERROR," released in 2022. The label requested an extra song, so Pau recorded it at home on their slightly out-of-tune piano, and it was included on the album under the condition that she would never have to perform it live because it's a very personal song This performance at the Pepsi Center, one of their 10th anniversary shows, she decided to do it anyway. It was the first and maybe the only time this song will be played live.

what an absolute beauty of a song amazing talent from pau to release a song that is so personal and that wasn't suppose to be played live then plays in front of everyone so much courage and bravery from her truly mesmerizing i love it when music artists are vulnerable like this 🤟🤟😎

Breathe (to hear what Pau said before singing turn on the English subtitles) : It been mentioned in other comments from other reactors: Their record label wanted one more song to be added to their album "ERROR" and asked Pau for her song (Breathe) she agreed with the stipulation that she will not be forced to sing this song live, it was added to their album "ERROR" as a bonus track. At Teatro Metro concert a recording of Breathe was played during a break/change over; the setting was surreal the stage was dimly lit and only a black void where the audience sat/stood...then slowly cellphone lights lit up the darkness like fireflies. Now at Pepsi Center with 8,000 in attendance Pau felt compelled to sing Breathe live as a gesture of gratitude for the love and support of the fans. Hey, I just The Warning for the first time 5 weeks ago and have listened to just about everything on their channel, watched dozens upon dozens of reactions, interviews and documentaries. There have been many explanations as to why this song is so personal but until I hear it from Pau I remain skeptical.

You’ve got another to go from from Dany st the Pepsi center called “When I’m Alone”. It’s another emotional experience so make sure your subtitles are on!! The song is in English but she talks to the audience midway thru in Spanish and what she says is so beautiful you have to hear it. She starts with tears also her eyes were welling up. I don’t think I’ve heard a band say this to their audience.

This concert had me in tears multiple times. Pau with Black Holes and Breathe, then Dany with When I'm Alone (which I have her hand written lyrics for, because it moved me so much the first time I heard it). All of these songs were written when they were so young, just kids/teenagers. They have a special purity of emotion to them. Breathe moves me the same way Bach's Cello Concerto, Prelude gets me. It resonates in my soul.

When you listen to Black holes, Show me the light, Breathe, Revenant, 23, The End or Creep sung by Pau or When I was Alone, Crimson Queen or Amour sung by Dany you have enough to clean out your Kleenex box. Add then Animosity and Copper Bullets. Just as a starter 🙂

I would do black holes 1st it explains why she sings breath live which she had told Label she would not play it live. The crowd impressed and honored her so much she gifted them the live version of breath.

Do remember that most of the people watching and reacting to your videos are here to watch your journey discovering their music. I've seen you're taking constructive criticism as advice but don't spend time arguing with people that are not happy unless you do things exactly the way they feel comfortable with. It detracts from wat you are trying to do and leads up to your channel being stressfull instead of the outlet it's meant to be.

I apologise if I have came across rude its the sad reality of trying my best with recording a video putting in effort and energy into it just for some trolls to watch for min or two just to tell me how I should be/ shouldn’t be it’s very discouraging and just makes me want to give up with it all it’s been very stressful and a mental battle trying to please everyone it’s tough🤷🏻‍♂️☹️
