Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour and played at the Mtv VMAs. They will open for Guns N’ Roses tonight and also have shows planned in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, for the Fall. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise, and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single, More, was released May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from last August’s concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold! When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist. When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!

FYI This is not a one song band. In fact, they have been playing and composing since their early years and have multiple albums and EPs under their belts, they have NO, and I mean literally NO bad songs. This is a band very well respected and loved by their fans and peers not only because their incredible good talent and music, but also for their story and personalities. I'm a 64 year old rocker and I love this band. Found them in January and I haven't stopped listening .They have a treasure trove of awesome music. Their entire history is on KZbin it's quite interesting. Watch their Metallica cover when they were kids. They also have their own version. Watch the teatro metropolitan version it'll blow you away. They each chose the instrument they wanted to learn. Then they realized they had what it took to make a band! All three were classically trained on piano from a very young age. They have videos of that on their channel.

The idea of becoming a rock band started for them with the video game “Rock Band”. Dany always played the guitar and Pau always played the drums. Ale was only 3 at the time so she just watched and clapped. They loved the game so much they asked their parents if they could learn the real instruments. When Ale was old enough they let her pick an instrument. She 1st picked the Harp. But they had trouble finding a local teacher and a harp. So she had to pick again and saw a bass and picked that. They all are also classically trained on piano as well. Dany and Ale also can play the Saxophone.

Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning! The Villrreal sisters from Monterrey Mexico are Daniela "Dany" current age 23 (guitar, piano, lead and backing vocals), Paulina "Pau" 21 (drums, piano, lead and backing vocals), and Alejandra "Ale" (bass, piano, backing vocals). They started with music appreciation classes when they were very young and loved it which led to classical piano lessons. When Dany was about 7 the family got the video game Rock Band, and Dany and Pau fell in love with the idea of being rock stars. Shortly after that Dany asked to take guitar lessons, and Pau wanted drum lessons. A few years later, Ale saw someone playing the bass in a video and said (according to her), "i want to play that. don't know what it is, but i want to play it." It was only after that that they realized they could actually play together like a band. They started learning songs together and uploading the videos to YT just to share with their grandparents. In 2014 they recorded a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman that went viral to the tune of over 24 million views today. While their music videos are amazing, their true super power is in their live shows. I strongly suggest either of the videos from the MTV VMAs earlier this week or any of the live videos from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022. Doesn't matter what song, just pick one you think sounds fun and roll with it, they simply don't have any bad songs.

best live band I've ever experienced and best rock band on the planet right now. i had not been to a live concert since the early 2000s. I've seen these amazing young women 5 times in the last year and a half. just amazing. and the best thing is that they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. they work very hard for their fans to the point it feels like being part of the family. and the best fan base in the world. i would suggest a live song next. everything from the teatro metropolitan concert is amazing. maybe Disciple next. or you could react to the live version of Choke so you can see the difference.

❤the trifecta is the original cover thst got them noticed at 14 12 and 9 Enter Sandman. Then the band Metallica tapped them to reimagine a song for Metallica's Blacklist album it's done w Alicia Cara who is on the same label as they had just signed to. Metallica told them flip it upside down inside out. Do it like it's your own just dont change the lyrics. They did just that in 1 week. Then the mark of great performers see them live doing their version of Enter Sandman live at Teatro Metropolitan center. They ladies play multiple instruments all play piano. Pau the drummer usually initiates songs working on piano. They all contribute. Ale the youngest has been a Spectator premier bassists since 14 or 15. She is 18 now. I like observant reactors. - Yes, Ms. Lulu, they started as kids on classical piano more than a decade back. Dany, the eldest, plays guitars, piano/keys & sax. Pau, the middle sister, plays drums & piano/keys. Ale, the youngest, is on bass, piano/keys & sax. - Although Pau is their main composer & songwriter on her piano, Choke is Dany's inspiration. During the composition Pau was unsure whether Dany could hit that high note or not. And she provided a mid range option just like you opined, John. However Dany insisted and here we have a classic song about despair & desolation. Choke was my initiation to this addiction called The Warning. After a long time a band is saying something substantial consistently. Their profound metaphorical takes on today's society is a throwback to the intelligence of classic rock in 70s, 80s. Intellectualism is back again thanks to the Villarreal sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Take Choke for example. Most bands will ask for help as they struggle to stay afloat in a bottomless pit of despair. But these girls are different. They are insisting on drowning & choking to death. Started performing live when they 8, 10 and 13, two years later quit doing covers to concentrate on original music. By the time the youngest was 11 they had released their first album and award earning video independently XXI Century Blood, the song that drug me down the rabbit hole. They are close to fifty original songs already and pretty much blew the doors off the crowd on the VMA side stage this year and will make their first appearance at Wacken next year. Personally they are the band I listen to the most, not sure why something about their music, lyrics or arrangements always seems fresh. They came up the old school way playing anyplace that would let them, raising their own funds to record and release albums, people seem to make the mistake because they are so young they didn't take the long road they have been around a long time. Covid killed their first real tour off which was Queen of the Murder Scene their second Independent album.

As a general rule of thumb, the most recent professionally recorded live version of any of their songs is the best (better than the studio version). So VMA for Evolve and More, Teatro Metropolitan for everything else on that set list, and so forth. Their parents did not direct them which instruments to play beyond starting them all on piano around age 5 or so, but they were always interested in music from very young ages.

They are a really great live band. In August of 2022 they had a concert Pro Shot at a place called Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City and any song from that concert is great! From heavier songs like Disciple and Animosity (and this one) to an acoustic song called Revenant. You have been Warned!

You are correct in that they are all multi-instrumentalists, the common instrument being the piano, but they did choose their own instruments without being told what to play. Their parents were supportive, but not directive. I have been a fan for a while and am not surprised by their success. Most long-time fans expected it. Only now do we see their efforts paying off. They are now trying to walk the line with a commercial tune like "More" and balancing that with their harder rocking tunes like "Choke". We are highly anticipating them returning to their studio to finish recording their new album. I am sure it will be something new, fresh, and blood-pumping music.
