There's always a theme in their albums. In this case, they kind of tried to NOT do that... but they just can't help themselves; their intelligence tends to force one in anyway. 😋

The whole album has a definitely has a theme. keep Me Fed. The title taken from the lyrics of the song Consume. Sharks is a song about perfectionism and judgment. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. And Consume is a song about pointing fingers and avoiding blame only to find yourself participating in the same system you criticize so much.

We all complain about the state of social media today feeding us drivel and distracting us from the real issues, but here we are. Now we're the "greedy little suckers" (Mony's version) They continue Warning us and Keep Us Fed. Fun song, nice reaction.

Happy Birthday.🎂 Yep, really. lol. First , and only, song so far with 'language'. their Mom was less than thrilled with the lyric choice, kept trying to get them to change it, 'sucker' or 'trucker', but they told her that she would have to live with it. Dad wasn't happy at first, but came to understand that it was needed to convey what they wanted to. Song is from the newest album, Keep Me Fed. Their favorite song from that record to play is "Automatic Sun", and they just played it live yesterday at the European Music Awards.

I don't think their dad _"came to understand that it was needed"_ but is experienced enough not to step into a Mexican female minefield. 🤣

as far as the "language' goes, I think they would have changed it if had a sexual context

They seemed particularly proud of the Explicit Material label on the physical cover of the CD and Vinyl. Like it's a badge of progress as musicians. They are breaking some stereotypes for sure, even some that applied to them earlier in their careers.

@@elgonwilliams7624 I'm proud of them for realizing that the Explicit label will sell more copies to Gen Z'ers. Frank Zappa laughed at Tipper Gore when he spoke before congress. He said he'd sell more albums with the label, so bring it on.

This entire album is a masterpiece! The Warning evolve with each album and never stay in on place! Happy belated Birthday!

Queens of Rock. Awesome song love it. It's in the playlist and one of their songs I have to hear in my first handful of songs when waking for the day.

As per the description of these songs that were on the album's pre-save page, they do not seem to really be about the same thing: Sharks → A song about perfectionism and judgment. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Consume → A song about pointing fingers and avoiding blame only to find yourself participating in the same system you criticize so much. This is also the song where the title of the album comes from.

Glad you found the warning but do not watch music videos. You need to watch them live to really appeciate how good they are. They sound 10x better live which is rare these days. Check out concert Live from Pepsi center CDMX over 8000 people. Look for Disciple, Dust to Dust, Hell you call a Dream and many more. Please not more music videos watch live
