I like this song as an intro to these Mexican sisters because you get lead vocals from all 3. Dany(guitar) and Pau on co lead ,with the "2 3 Go" line being Ale's. Song is from the 3rd album, Error. Their 4th album, Keep Me Fed , was just released in June. 23 21 and 18 at this 10th anniversary concert last fall from Pepsi Center CDMX (CDMX = Mexico City) I love Halestorm too, seen them a couple times live. When Lzzy first heard The Warning, she said that they needed to take them on tour. That happened summer of 2022, also with Lilith Czar and the Pretty Reckless. that tour is where Lzzy gifted to Dany a Gibson Explorer mid The Warning set. Lzzy was paying it forward from back in the day when then Shinedown guitarist Jasin Todd gifted one to her. She told Dany to pay it forward one day. You always get energy from The Warning, Lzzy has called them fierce, and said that they attack the audience. For more check out "Evolve" from the 2023 mtv video music awards. And for a new album song, "Hell You Call A Dream" from this same Pepsi Center concert.

The MV was shot in the Blast Furnace Museum of the Foundry Park in Monterrey, Mexico. The Warning Army fans were the soldier extras. They have toured with Halestorm and will again next month in Canada. Lzzy Hale is Dany’s (guitarist) idol. Lzzy gifted Dany a custom Gibson Explorer. However, the guitar used in this live is a Manson Onyx 6 gifted to Dany by Matt Bellamy of Muse. Muse is part owner of Manson Guitars. They have a world-class team and their videographer, Iván Chavez, who directed and edited the live video is a graduate of the University of the University of Monterrey film school.

Live is their super power! A great next step is "Dust to Dust" / "Dull Knives" (a free twofer) from the same show. When you fall a little deeper into the rabbit hole the Lunario performance of their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" is amazing. I love how you react to an MV and, where possible, a live version too. The Warning were the band that finally, after several years, made me turn my ears West and away from Japan's musical treasures for a little while. I saw them perform in April this year (in a students union hall in Cardiff, here in Wales, which I never expected to be a thing!). Dani(ella), the lead singer and lead guitarist, has a voice that always reminds me of Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane but Pau(lina) on drums has superb vocals too. Ali(xandra) on bass sings harmonies too but I'm always amaze at how Pau can drum so fast and so tightly while singing passionately. They have a host of live performances and MV's on their YT channel and, of course, there's the collaboration they did recently with Band-Maid - SHOW THEM. There's even a complete concert or two on their channel, in case you're wondering how to celebrate your 1000th subscriber (which should be about a week away - or even just hours away if you react to Babymetal (Japanese, female with male musicians and who do epic Metal shows and who have quite the fanbase!). Though I was going to point out that the 1 hour, 12 song Band-Maid Lollopalooza concert is on YT too. Just saying!

Nice. I just realised I have never actually seen the music video for this one! Something really fun about the warning is that because they are sisters and they started learning and recording their practice quite young, there are videos of them in, I assume early teens, when they are far from this quality. You can kind of watch them progress from kids practicing to where they are now. Not only is it just interesting to see but it's also a reminder that no matter how great a musician / band you like / admire is, they started out having to practice from the same place we all do. On the Halestorm note, someone might have already said, the Halestorm song "Love Bites, So Do I" is where LOVEBITES took their name from. Also technical note, audio quality of your mic is a little off on this one, but has been great in all the others.

Even farther back there are videos of them playing classical music on piano at recitals. Dany and Pau began piano lessons at 6 and 4 with Ale following a few years later. Ahh, The Warning, another superb band. There are many songs from these ladies worth your time, but for starters you might like this, "The Warning - ENTER SANDMAN Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022" . This is their version of the Metallica song, and in my opinion they totally make it their own. (I would give you the link, but unfortunately the last few weeks YT have been right b%"&!&ds deleting anything I post with a link, even for YT videos, and many other comments beside for no apparent reason 😡)
