This song is better than anything on the new album, and top 5 on the Queen of the Murder Scene album. When it comes to the songs from the new album, I haven't bothered ranking them....except to say none of them are of high enough quality to make any of their first three albums.

D2D is among the top 60 songs of theirs . I like "Automatic Sun" from the Tecate Pa'l Norte Festival in Monterrey, MX with the pyro and CO2 jets. Really good camera work and great video effects with the drones. "HYCD" from the Pepsi Center, CDMX is just as good, but no stage effects. Do them both. Doesn't matter which is first.

This is the first song of their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene (QOTMS). It is the prologue, the main character's (the Queen's) funeral, where she invites us to hear her story. Ale gets main writing credit for this one. Pau is enlongating her mouth to give a deeper color to her voice.

There have been a handful of drummers who also sing lead. Phil Collins and Karen Carpenter are two of the most well known.

The only thing these ladies were going for is hard rock. This song is the prologue to their rock novel Queen of the Murder Scene. It follows a woman who suffers unrequited love and obsession followed by murdering her crush, and then descending into madness and death. This song is sung from the POV of the woman’s ghost introducing the story at her funeral. The male voice is their manager playing the part of the preacher giving a sermon. The chorus is “dust to dust our bones will rust and we will start again.” This album is a masterpiece. You should follow it song by song. There are live versions of every song.

This is such a great concert the entire set is amazing. I listen to it almost daily when I'm working from my PC. That being said, "Money" from this concert is such a bad ass performance. BTW, Pau practices singing while she is running, so when she sings while drumming she has a good body control.

Automatic Sun since it has Danny playing a Fender Barritone Stratocaster allowing Ale to play her bass even lower. Can you imagine Stevie Ray Vaughn or Terry Kath with one of those?

For me Dust to Dust is the best TW song, I mean I love all of them, but this is the kind of vibe I enjoy the most in a song. Every great band has a song like this under their belt. I really dont know how to explain it, but it is like the eureka song that once you hear it for the first time, you'll know this is the band you'll hear forever. And even if a band goes way to far into an extreme direction, your mind will remind you what they are capable to create so you can trust. Im glad it was like the 5th song I heard from them 3 yrs ago, and honestly, there hasnt been a single day without listening to TW. Thanks to this song, again, I find my self really amazed by discovering that their canvas is endless... they really know how to mix colors and create such great paintings again and agian, to the point that even in a Piccaso style song, you'll find different but great things. 😊

One of my faves by The Warning. Intro to their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, so lyrics probably best interpreted in the context of the story. I think the singing term you were looking for is "belting." Pau does it very well, but can also sing ballads with overwhelming passion and authenticity (Breathe, Revenant, 23, her cover of Creep, etc.). Enjoying your reactions!

The only singer/drummer I can think of (after Pau) is Phil Collins, it's hard enough to do one or the other but both is very impressive. I think they were at around eight thousand feet elevation at that show, so breathing/drumming/singing must have been hard. Pau is a complete beast❤🤘

Hi from Sweden. Did you know that it´s Pau (the drummer) who write most of the songs and lyric on piano and then brings it too the two sisters and complete the songs with them.

It's more a team work than that. They explain it recently in a interview. Pau is the engine: she gets things moving, starts everything, she's the spark. Dany is the trailblazer: she explores, finds paths to keep the thing moving. Ale is the decision maker, she chooses the right path. They are the ideal team.

The first song of their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene. Perfected by the time they performed it at the Teatro Metropolitan. The whole album was played in order at the Lunario CMDX 2018. Unlike the bright large venue of the Teatro Metropolitan, the Lunario was a smaller, darker venue, fitting for the grim and dark songs of QOTMS. The three sisters were all in character, especially Dany playing the role of the ‘Queen’. With each song you see Dany transform, losing the battle for her sanity and soul. With Dust to Dust, they were joined on stage by Rudy their manager, in the role of a preacher, preaching to the audience. You can now only hear his prerecorded sermon at the Teatro Metropolitan as he had difficulty keeping time with TW. At the Lunario his sermon and TW performing looked apocalyptic. Here you can actually see all three sisters smiling. At the Lunario they were deadly serious, with Dany having make up of claw marks scratched across her throat and hand as part of her tortured character. Give yourself a treat and watch Dust to Dust at the Lunario, and at the Whisky A Go Go where Ale, who has major credit for the creation of this song, plays a longer haunting bass intro.

Even though I’m sure they want to get on with their new music, I almost kinda wish we could have one last live performance of the whole album, to see how it sounds with that extra 5-6 years or so of growth and voice+instrument training.

@tehawfulestface1337 11 күн бұрын
@@gerstelbI totally agree. These kids are just growing up too fast. Just as I was just discovering their past, they kept going forward. Always feel like I’m trying to catch up with them. I am saddened that with each new song, some of the earlier ones may have to be ‘retired’ from their live performances.

Singer drummers. I did not see one who is also from a three piece band. Gil Moore of Triumph, who are from Canada. Late 1970's through late 1980's. Their leed guitar player Rik Emmet sang most of the time and had Alex Leifson of Rush on one of his solo albums. Alex has his own band now, 'Envy Of None.'

The lyrics won't tell too much on their own, as you've heard, as it's part of a larger story. That being said, it's one of the first 4 or 5 songs i heard of theirs and will always be a favorite. While all the songs from this concert are great, this song has a dark moodiness that is not captured here. It's the ghost of the protagonist at her own funeral asking us to come in a hear her story. But even without the context it's a helluva song. Thanks for continuing to explore The Warning.

Hey Rusty, hope you're feeling better. First track on their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene", released in 2018 when they were 18 16 and 13. It's a concept album, written by teenagers. The spoken part is voiced by their manager , Rudy, playing the preacher character. Album tells the story of a girl who goes from obsession to stalking, murder, descent into madness, and her death. This song is the prologue ,told from the perspective of the girl's ghost at her funeral. Yes you're correct, Pau is the drummer. Her vocals are awesome, she practices singing while running. They were 22 20 and 17 at this concert. Yes, Mexico. CDMX= Mexico City. All 22 songs here are awesome, try "Disciple" next. Dany and Pau on co-lead vocals.

*Dust to Dust* *Dust to Dust* is the prologue song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it is a story about how well things can appear to be going and how fast it can all fall apart... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul... the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says... Brother! Salvation is something that is earned! Let go of your hand of resentment and Wake up to a new light within you Although your brothers try Plunge into the darkness DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs each and the last three songs were presented here to complete the album... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons... as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Hello my friend Rusty!!!....Believe me this: You have to react to this Incredible Singer with the Most Insane Vocal Range of The World (7.5 Octaves)!!!...When I recommend Dimash to experts like you, sometimes they laugh and they look at me with that look that says "Have you gone crazy?...Nobody can sing like that"!....And I smile and tell them "Do you want to bet your car?"...Of course after they hear him their faces say it all!!...Lol!!...They can't believe what they are seeing and hearing!....So well, I want to invite you to make a reaction to this incredible singer, who is leaving all the experts with their jaws literally on the floor....In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"!... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"....Since then all this madness began on the internet, KZbin and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet... It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano!....You can see in KZbin to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true!!...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide....Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you!!...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality...kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U
