La producción y el sonido estuvieron bastante bien y hasta se aventaron Enter Sandman en versión unplugged. La entrevista sí estuvo un tanto incómoda, la verdad. No sé si es la traducción o la diferencia cultural, pero como que hubo momentos en que se sacaron de onda con las preguntas del presentador. Lo único que me gustó es que la luz roja hacía juego con sus outfits. El amigo en el público con la playera de la banda nos representa a todos.

Good exposure for The Warning. I like that it was a mixture of chat and music. It’s always good for them to get on stage and give a live performance. I’m guessing that the host/interviewer wasn’t a music guy. He seemed determined to make them commit to certain political positions, which seemed a bit odd. It reminded me of the film Miss Congeniality and the scene where both the judges and the audience are not satisfied until the beauty pageant contestants declare their unwavering commitment to “world peace.”

I wonder if the band recognized Tyler Hawkins on the drums in the Alanis clip. That was the first place I saw him, as the touring drummer for Alanis is back in the early 90s. This was fun. I like the performance to interview format of this show. I just wish I remembered more from French class.
