The origin of the lyrics are from a nature documentary that Pau was watching describing how humanity has taken control of evolution through gene manipulation and many other aspects. Then they leave it open enough to draw our own additional interpretations

When they signed with Lava they kept full creative control and also their Patreon. One of the reasons it took 7 months of negotiations with Lava. They sat down with lawyers and read every single line so they didn't get screwed over.

Their videos are always cool. That one done in 2 hrs. With i-phones & a drone. But, always better live! Anything from the teatro metropolitan show on their channel is great. They recently released "dust to dust" from that show with pau singing lead.

When The Warning signed with Lava/Republic records, they had been in negotiation for 7 months. They retained creative license, their Patreon, and many other things that they held important to their band. They have toured with many established bands and even have opened for their idols 8 times in Mexico and the EU, Dany has been gifted two custom guitars: one Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale had made for her when they were on tour and gave her during a set, and another by Matt Bellamy- a custom Manson made to her specs. That says something about how they are perceived by established bands. Three Days Grace has had Dany perform with them on their song Painkiller at least a dozen times (anytime they are in the same place) and they have had Barry play with them as well. They may not quite realize it, but they are on their way to the top and many bands are on board and helping them get there. 🤟❤️⚡⚡⚡

As Devon from Lava Records said in the Mayday in the Making docu series, "they're not a young rock band, they're not a female rock band, they're a rock band." take the novelty aspects out of the equation and they're just an exceptional rock band in their own right. By the way, that would be a great set of videos to react to if you really want to get a look at who they are as people and artists. 6 videos about 5 mins each.

At age 16 Pau was too nervous to enter the international Hit Like A Girl drum competition. At age 17 THEY asked her to be a judge and the face of the competition!!! And you see what she's capable of today.🥁 Dany and Ale are tremendous musicians as well. TW ROCKS!!! ☄🔥🤘 Nice in-depth reactions 🙌

Great reaction, Asaf and Itai, a great insight to your interpretation of the high-energy song. These young ladies will tell you about their journey in a Tedx talk show. You will have to travel back 6 years to 2017 where they will also play 3 amazing songs. Unmendable, when I'm alone and Survive. A great video to see just how humble and grounded these young ladies are. The video is a must watch and is 18 minutes long. It would be great for you guys to see their growth and how they have 'Evolved' in 6 years. Not that they were not phenomenal at the ages of 12, 15 and 17. Maybe you can take the time or break up the show. Your reaction will be greatly appreciated. 🤟

Really nice reaction. I really like that you bring more to your reactions than just saying "that was cool" like a lot of reactors on KZbin. This is actually the song that basically introduced me to The Warning and the song they tend to play as an encore at their live shows. You are right about Pau, she is always 110% max speed...and she hits her drum kit like it owes her money. If you're going to continue your The Warning journey, I'd suggest you react to a song where Pau sings lead like "Narcisista" (which has the added bonus of being in Spanish) or "Dust to Dust".

Great reaction! Your commentary is pretty spot on! I'm not too sure about the chip on their shoulder though, at least they never come off that way in my experience, however they are very strong-willed and have great character that are definitely useful assets to have in this industry. They know what they want, and won't accept anything less. Their rapid rise in popularity is a testament to that and all the hard work they put in to get where they are. You would certainly be interested in reacting to Narcisista, the first song they wrote in spanish as a scathing response to local critics calling them "malichista", or cultural traitors for only singing in English up to that point. They wrote the song in Spanish to make sure that those critics could fully understand that they won't take any crap from anyone. You certainly don't need to understand a single word to clearly understand the message the song conveys.
